How to vote in an AfD[edit]

Hi Jeeteshviashya, during AfD discussion certain format is followed. I have seen that you simply add your comments at the bottom. Instead you should use *Delete or Keep if you want to vote in favor of or against the nomination. Then in the same line you should write your comment. For example at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bharti Shriji (2nd nomination), you should do

  • Keep i have added few more links related to Bharti Shriji. She is herself a well known spiritualist. lacks of devotees, specifically women devotees from India as well as abroad, follow Bharati Shriji. She is known for her spiritual preaches. (Your Signatures)(Date)

If you only want to comment and do not want to vote. You should then

  • Comment i have added few more links related to Bharti Shriji. She is herself a well known spiritualist. lacks of devotees, specifically women devotees from India as well as abroad, follow Bharati Shriji. She is known for her spiritual preaches. (Your Signatures)(Date)

Also please note that we only vote once. If you want to add any comments later, then just use the Comment as described above. I hope you have understood. --Vigyanitalkਯੋਗਦਾਨ 08:48, 4 September 2014 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of A. M. Turaz[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article A. M. Turaz has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability, no significant coverage in reliable sources, the content is largely unverifiable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Huon (talk) 00:05, 16 September 2014 (UTC)

@Huon:, I have added more links and news reference relented A. M. Turaz. He is notable on wiki, he is amongst prominent Bollywood lyricist as well as a poet also. Kabhi Jo Badal Barse song from Jackpot (2013 film) super hit. He has written for so many bollywood films, his filmography has shortly updated on his wiki page. Even he was widely criticized for one of lyrics because of using word of Ambani, Tata, prominent Indian business family. These all things make him notable. Do not delete page please. Thank You!--Jeeteshvaishya (talk) 01:26, 18 September 2014 (UTC)

Technically you can simply contest the proposed deletion, which is intended only for articles whose deletion is uncontroversial, by removing the {{{{Proposed deletion/dated|...}} code at the beginning of the page. However, none of the reliable sources you added so far cover Turaz in any detail, with the best of them writing all of two sentences about him that provide no biographical details whatsoever. If you contested the proposed deletion without providing reliable third-party sources that cover Turaz in some detail, say at the very least an entire paragraph dedicated to him, I'd have to nominate it for a full deletion discussion, where the consensus very likely would be that the current sources do not suffice to establish that Turaz is notable. It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Speedy deletion nomination of Zindagi Dot Com[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Zindagi Dot Com requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.igovernment.in/igov/news/41550/launches-serial-governance. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. reddogsix (talk) 01:41, 23 September 2014 (UTC)

@Reddogsix: do not delete this page, i m removing copyright contents from the page.--Jeeteshvaishya (talk) 01:48, 23 September 2014 (UTC)

Hello Jeeteshvaishya,

@331dot: I think this page should be on Wikipedia. there are several reliable sources, i am adding there. Thank you.--Jeeteshvaishya (talk) 16:34, 8 March 2015 (UTC)

You can remove the Proposed Deletion tag if you feel that way, but my opinion is unchanged as of now; I would suggest reviewing the notability guidelines for books if you haven't already as well as the Guinness World Records page, as the page about the Asia book should look more like that, explaining how it came about and anything notable about it. As it is now the sources given are just those from people attempting to be listed in the book. 331dot (talk) 01:24, 9 March 2015 (UTC)
