¡Si no existe, creémosla!

Proposed deletion[edit]

Proposed deletion of Èric Bertran[edit]

Ambox warning orange.svg

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Èric Bertran, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Charles Matthews (talk) 11:35, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

Jamaican Creole[edit]

Hi! Do you speak Jumieka Langwi? [1] I'm thinking of create a Wikipedia to this Patois. Would you help me? --Jeneme (talk) 10:36, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

There is already an article entitled Jamaican Creole. You could simply add to that, instead of creating a new article. On a different note, it may be a little difficult to create an article or to even write a small section about a "language" such as this, since it's so flexible. There is no right or wrong way of peaking our Patois, and there are no "grammar rules". It's a dialect that varies even within particular towns and areas of Jamaica. Can't generalize. Anyway, I'll see what I can do to help. Orane (talk) 03:45, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

--Manuel Trujillo Berges (talk) 18:41, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

Ambox warning pn.svg

A tag has been placed on Sociedad para el Estudio del Andaluz requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Borrados[edit]

--Lascorz (talk) 08:50, 1 October 2009 (UTC)

Fonz[edit]

Hi - I removed a link to Fonz from your Fonz Aragonese article, because the Wikipedia article for Fonz can't possibly be the one your article should reference :) I was going to replace it with a piped redlink, indicating the need for an article about the Fonz in question, but I don't know whether it's a language, dialect, or something else. You might like to create a Fonz (language) or Fonz (dialect) article, or perhaps just insert the appropriate redlink into the Fonz Aragonese piece. All the best, Gonzonoir (talk) 13:55, 1 October 2009 (UTC)

Got your message - thanks for that! I've made a small edit to the first sentence of Fonz Aragonese to clarify a little. Gonzonoir (talk) 14:31, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
Gonzonoir (talk) 15:43, 1 October 2009 (UTC)

January 2010[edit]

Information.svg Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give País Leonés a different title by copying its content and pasting it into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other articles that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you.   — Jeff G. ツ 15:02, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Aragüés Aragonese[edit]

Ambox warning pn.svg

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Aragüés Aragonese, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article that does not provide sufficient context to identify its subject. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- Ice (talk) 07:45, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

Nomination of Kastela Republic for deletion[edit]

A discussion has begun about whether the article Kastela Republic, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kastela Republic until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Please note that this is in no way a comment about the work you have done, but simply a reflection of the fact that we cannot cover every single group that seeks to declare themselves a micronation. Please also note that a lack of notability is not permanent; if events transpire that lead to the group in question receiving significant third-party attention, it may allow you to make a case for inclusion.
