License tagging for File:News Patrol.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:News Patrol.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 15:06, 23 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Accent 2011.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Accent 2011.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Prolog (talk) 05:41, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:HyundaiGrandeur5G.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:HyundaiGrandeur5G.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Danger (talk) 16:39, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Jeromesandilanic, the article PNR is using this info of fact-index (a wiki mirror, as you might know). It's a copy of the original article somewhere around here. I'm not fluent in English at all, and I hope you can rewrite this section with another source, it can't stay this way of course. Orphaned non-free image File:Umagang Kay Ganda 2.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Umagang Kay Ganda 2.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 04:07, 12 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:MRT2-MRT-3 Bridge.jpg[edit]

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 05:05, 12 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:MRT2-MRT-3 Bridge.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ww2censor (talk) 05:19, 12 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Light rail. Replaceable fair use File:AlvinElchicoabscbn.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:AlvinElchicoabscbn.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Bluemask (talk) 02:48, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for October 4[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited High-speed rail, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Five Year Plan (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed blackout in protest of RA 10175[edit]

Dear Jeromesandilanico,

Greetings!

As a Filipino Wikipedian, I hope you are aware of the passage of Republic Act No. 10175, also known as the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, which was signed into law by President Benigno Aquino III on September 12, 2012. Currently, there is a discussion on the Tambayan, the noticeboard for Philippines-related topics, about a proposed blackout of the English Wikipedia in the Philippines in order to protest the passage of RA 10175, similar to the blackout against SOPA and PIPA held earlier this year. I feel that your input on the subject will definitely help in the discussion.

Please feel free to participate in the discussion at Wikipedia talk:Tambayan Philippines#The Cybercrime Prevention Act, and I hope your input will help the Filipino Wikipedia community determine which is the best course of action against this law. Similarly, we hope to get as much input from as many Wikipedians as possible.

Thank you and maraming salamat po!

Kind regards,

Non-free rationale for File:MRTppass.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:MRTppass.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as:

is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors make better use of the image, and it will be more informative to readers.

If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Dream High 2 OST Cover.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Dream High 2 OST Cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Michaela den (talk) 10:28, 24 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please see Template:Infobox election#Usage. The relevant options are:

  • type = The type of election. Must be one of four: presidential, legislative, parliamentary or by-election. Legislative after the election will display majority and minority party, rather than first and second party.

There's no "senatorial" type. The mayoral election cannot be described as a "senatorial" election, as the only "senatorial elections" are the elections that involve Senate seats. This election does not involve senate seats; it is held on the same day as the senatorial election, though. –HTD 09:36, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to an article, specifically Umagang Kay Ganda, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. License tagging for File:MOR 95.1 Cotabato new logo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:MOR 95.1 Cotabato new logo.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Concerning your edit warring over these pages:

  • The {{Railway line header}}/{{BS-header}}/{{BS-table}} construct is obsolete and {{BS-map}} should be used instead.
  • RDT titles should not be wikilinked; if the diagram isn’t on the page for that route or mentioned in the lede, then it probably doesn’t belong there.
  • Proper row templates should be used. Simplest is best, as unnecessary columns etc. just lead to edit errors and confusion for others.
    • “Short-cut” templates (such as {{lrt}}) are also useful as they simplify editing, and reduce the amount of typing (and therefore possible typographic errors).
  • The standard usage of icons should be followed:
    • Lines generally start and end with   (KBHFa) and   (KBHFe); if tracks extend beyond the station platforms, they should be properly terminated with   (ENDEa) and   (ENDEe).
    • Road crossings are indicated with specific icons, e.g.   (SKRZ-G4o) or   (AKRZo);
    •   (INT) denotes a connection to a line not shown on the diagram,   (HUB01) is used to tie together station on the same diagram.
  • What is your justification for the claim “templates should only contain existing stations”? It is well-established practice to include proposed extensions, especially if they have moved beyond the proposal stage and are actually approved for construction. If a station (or other feature) is notable enough to be included in the article, then it can be included in an RDT.
  • Wikilinks to interchanges should be linked to what they say. For example,  LRT-1  should link to LRT-1, not Doroteo Jose LRT Station. If other pages are to be linked to, they should be explicitly noted. (I preserved the wikilinks in my edit; they are linked to the INT icons.)
  • White text on a yellow background is a just plain poor choice. Please read WP:Manual of Style/Accessibility#Color.

If there is a problem with an edit, don’t just blindly revert it, fix what is incorrect. Remember, creation of a page does not confer ownership. Useddenim (talk) 15:27, 23 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Well unlike in the other countries, Philippine Train-related articles which are concerned with proposed and/or approved stations are not included due to lack of development which would lead to either cancellation and/or discontinuation. The only time Filipino wikipedians include these stations is when there is an actual construction taking place. That is the reason why we do not include it in the edit and I hope you would understand. Now regarding the "updating", I have nothing against it but please if you are just implementing such, please carry it out without adding unecessary info such as unsure proposed and approved stations. December 2013[edit]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for your disruption caused by edit warring and violation of the three-revert rule at Template:Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 1. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Jeromesandilanico (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I think that I should be removed from being blocked as I tried to stop edit warring via opening up a talk page [1] but User:Useddenim but he failed to comply and wait for a consensus with such and continued on his reverts while evading talks in the talk pages and verbally abusing me and my edits. So please may I request for any administrator for a unblock as I did not intend to create edit warring. JeromesandilanicoJSD (talk) 16:28, 23 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

There is no exception to 3RR just because the other party keeps edit warring. Also, you didn't post to the talk page until you had already made 4 reverts. See Wikipedia:Edit warring#Handling of edit-warring behaviors for the ideal way to handle such a situation. Mr.Z-man 16:48, 23 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

As an aside, Jeromesandilanico, I recall the last time you were blocked (by @Future Perfect at Sunrise:), you were unblocked on the condition that you refrain from working with images. I see that you waited a while and then started uploading copyrighted images again. Can you explain this? --Laser brain (talk) 17:01, 23 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
(Saw an automatic ping regarding this discussion.) It also turns out that at least one of the images he uploaded subsequently, File:Calamba Toll Barrier.jpg, was again a copyright violation, as was at least one further image uploaded directly at Commons (File:SLE2.jpg, with falsely labelled duplicate File:SLE3.jpg). Fut.Perf. 17:40, 23 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding those images, I uploaded those images before I was warned and blocked by the admins just failed to delete the images. I agreed to do so already and all I do now is patrol and suggest when it comes to images. I guess patrolling images is fine especially if tags are baseless and unfit? Also if ever I uploaded images like logos for example, I make sure that they are properly licensed and that they are free images and I already refrained from adding pictures that are not mine. The only thing I think that I am warned to do is upload images that are not mine which I followed. So please let us not reopen cases that are not anymore a problem and is resolved. I know that I am blocked for a 3RR violation and I appealed but decline so I will just wait. Thank You.JeromesandilanicoJSD (talk) 06:03, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No, that's not true. You were previously unblocked on 30 March 2011, and according to the edit/upload history of File:Calamba Toll Barrier.jpg (which is still visible to admins, even after deletion), you uploaded it 27 October 2011, a good seven and a half months after you were unblocked due to a promise to stop uploading images. Writ Keeper  06:12, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Well that time I might have forgotten such as I have been kinda out in editing wikipedia that time and reuploaded images that I are piled in my list that I forgot to scrap as soon as I came back but I assured you that after I remember that (2011 is the last upload dispute I did) I stopped uploading such images already and scrapped the list and just focused on article creation and image patrol. So with that I'm sorry for not remembering immediately that when I came back to full time wikipedia editing but I assure you that I refrained as the last image is dated back in 2011 and that may I just serve the remaining block time for the 3RR vio.JeromesandilanicoJSD (talk) 06:31, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
*sigh* You know that we can easily look up all your image uploads, right? And those are just the ones that haven't been deleted. as you can see, the most recent non-deleted one was October of this year. Your most recent deleted image upload was June 2013. So, yeah, this really isn't ringing true. Writ Keeper  06:42, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Well I uploaded those images that you say are deleted recently because I have been studying wiki rules on uploading and that images seen on flickr with creative commons license is allowed only to my surprise that those accounts might have been fake after all. Basically I have followed rules only that it was deleted due to flickr account problem and not mine so I let it happen. I think that one shouldnt be credited on me as I followed rules and even went to flickrreview and was approved by the bot. And besides those "non-deleted" ones are logos which is allowed under a certain fair use. I believe though that no one is allowed to not upload an image if they follow rules. And that is what I did and started to upload images again after I studied the rules. The only thing also about what future perfect said is that I should refrain from images that are not mine or is not licensed properly. So please let me just serve my 3RR vio block as even my records could show that I am barely doing disturbance in the wiki pages.JeromesandilanicoJSD (talk) 06:54, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That's not true: FPaS had explicitly said: I am not willing to unblock you unless you promise, once and for all, that you will refrain from image work completely. And you had acknowledged: Ok fine I promise to refrain from image work completely. Granted, that was two years ago, and it's possible that you could've honestly forgotten about it, but what makes this troubling are the changes in your story above, which, to be quite honest, make it look like you're simply lying. I'm not familiar with all of the background here, but it just doesn't look right to me. Perhaps FPaS can shed more light on the situation, if he feels it's necessary. Writ Keeper  07:42, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Well I just want to ask I know FPaS is an admin but, a user can learn and change and be allowed again to upload images as long as he is abiding with the rules, so my question is that, is FPaS the owner of wikipedia to tell me that i could never ever again upload, or concern myself with images even if I try to learn and abide by the rules? I thought wikipedia is a page where everyone could contribute and is a collaborative work in which users correct and learn from their mistakes? I know back in 2011 I made several mistakes that is why i promised to FPaS to refrain from images completely until I learn how to do it properly, but I think its just fair that if a user abides and changes for the better, that he may be given a chance to do so again. Sure I may commit (and even admins may commit) mistakes especially in images, but it doesnt mean that a user should be stripped of his rights forever like what FPaS is doing to me. Yes I know that I have uploaded several images that were deleted this 2013, but this time I followed the rules it just so happens that the account where I got the image is a fake one which after learning of such I rested my case. That is abiding by the rules and I think that should not merit me a block again for the same case. And besides if im not committed in correcting my mistakes, I would try to justify and defend those mentioned images above, but because that was an admitted mistake, I let the admins do what is proper without contest. I hope that you please not take such past actions personally and be fair in dealing with this case and just hope to serve my 3RR vio block.JeromesandilanicoJSD (talk) 12:03, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with WK. Your stories above keep shifting, and much of what you say is simply false. For example, you didn't agree "to refrain from images completely until I learn how to do it properly" (bolding added by me); you agreed without qualification. If you wanted to start uploading images again, you should have gone to FPaS and talked to them about it and see if they were willing to lift the condition under which you were unblocked. Instead, you just violated your condition, and now you're prevaricating and whining about it. I wouldn't unblock you.--Bbb23 (talk) 13:33, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Well even if I ask FPaS in the first place he wouldnt agree as what he said he has short patience. And besides is he the owner of wikipedia for me to ask only him? I think my behavior, though not that great, is not that bad either and is not disruptive in a sense that I do not hamper any article development WP:DISRUPT. Its just sad that it seems that you are arguing that its only FPaS that has control of everything. Well if permission is all I need to be able to upload again maybe other administrators besides him could suffice. And me uploading without being blocked again is a sign that im not being disruptive in doing so and I do not violate such. I hope that you treat this fairly as I already feel harassed by some users and this is becoming more of a punishment which according to WP:NOTPUNISHMENT should not be. Those conditions besides are already 2 years old and my newer record could show a change. And for the record, I did not shift my story, I simply elaborated further. To FPaS: may i quote a phrase from the WP:NOTPUNISHMENT " If you have a problem with the actions of a user, why not try to discuss the matter with her or him before blocking? I am willing to listen anyways and willing to suspend image uploading until dispute about such is resolved and that I may continue on editing articles, which I think is not an issue in this discussion.Again, No offense, but may I please ask for fairness in this discussion, Thanks!.JeromesandilanicoJSD (talk) 15:03, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Again, Im not PhilippineRevolution, as first I dont agree with his edits just like yours, and second if I would go with your argument that another user besides me is always related to me, then you are saying Riohondo, Philippinerailways, Skyharbor, etc is me too. please, you are taking things personally already. So Please just focus on what you do and leave me alone here dealing with my own problem. Thanks! JeromesandilanicoJSD (talk) 16:18, 25 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Just so you know, Jerome, although there are certain things you are not permitted to remove from your talk page while you are blocked, Useddenim's accusations of sock puppetry aren't included, so you are welcome to remove their comments (and this comment as well) if you wish. If Useddenim wants to open an WP:SPI, rather than making accusations here and at other editors' talk pages, they can do so.--Bbb23 (talk) 17:01, 25 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
This was not intended as an accusation; it just seemed to be an unusual coincidence that I, not being an admin, have no way of verifying one way or the other. Useddenim (talk) 17:11, 25 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi JeromesandilanicoJSD, a user named Riohondo actually has linked the renaming dicussion of rail articles in which you are a part of, since there has been an argument between the naming of an article you have renamed, may we get your input regarding the matter to settle it once and for all? Thank you! -NewPhilippinerailways (talk) 06:22, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, first and foremost what you are asking is impossible as first i am blocked indefinitely and second im already retired. I do visit and log-in still time to time but I dont usually reply to things like these anymore but since im involved in this one and your asking me about my input then i would oblige though you could just quote me there so that my side could be aired.
For me it would be MRT-2 as although me and Riohondo seemed to agree with the name initially, I did find out that it was MRT-2 and not LRT-2. I wanted to move the page but unfortunately I would be unable to do that now. The current title is a mistake and if only im still active i would change it to Manila Mass Rail Transit Line 2. Again for me it should have been MRT-2, though Skyharbor's suggestion is not half bad though if that would be followed, my only request is to use LRTA instead of LRT to distinguish it properly. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Aksyon.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Aksyon.jpg.

Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 14:06, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:MOR 95.5 Laoag new logo.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:MOR 95.5 Laoag new logo.jpg.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 14:48, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
