Hi John,
The English translated version of your work: File:Battleforceanmapenglish.PNG has been used in several articles regarding the Normandy campaign. Currently the Operation Cobra article is undergoing an Feature Article review and the image has been questioned by one reviewer.
He states that for us to use your image within a Featured Article it
"requires a source to verify that the lines of advancement are accurate. The image it is based on has no sources for this."
Is there any chance you could edit the image to provide what books/sources you used to create the image?
The current FAC disuccsion is ongoing here: Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Operation Cobra.--EnigmaMcmxc (talk) 16:19, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
- I am sorry to say that I have not noted the source when I created the map and can not recall now, where I found said source. It was a map I found on the internet, though and therefore might be seen as insufficient. Kind regards, John N. (talk) 06:17, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
