Gallery Added[edit]

(I'm copying this to Talk:Overpass#Gallery_Added let's continue the discussion there.)

Regarding the images on the article Overpass, the prior arrangement was somewhat unsightly due to the relatively small amount of text on the page and the large number of images. I left one image out of the gallery because, in my opinion, it was the image that is most descriptive of the concept of Overpass/flyover.

I did intend to move the image to the right side of the article, but I forgot to do that. I have just corrected that oversight.

In your note you mentioned that the images were, "moved ... to the railroad overpass section." I'm not sure what you mean. The article, and the gallery I added, is about both highway and railroad overpasses. What I did was create a gallery for all but one of the images to make the article flow better visually.

Finally, the policy I mentioned in my edit summary is Section 3.2 of Wikipedia Manual of Style/Images which talks about how to locate an image. But I was also influenced by Section 2 of Wikipedia:Picture tutorial, Avoiding stack-ups where we learn that stacking multiple images against large amounts of white space is visually undesirable. My edit was intended to fix that.

Finally if your interest is in railroad overpasses, I think the article would benefit from more railroad related images. If you have any that would be appropriate that would be great.

An Objective Re-Write is Needed[edit]

Hi there, would you be interested to re-wrtie a controversial and a highly hot topic from Finland in regards to freedom of speech and freedom of press? I tried many times but there is a war going on between the ones who just want to attack the newspaper without any sources and others who want to provide the issue from both sides. It's on Finnbay page. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finnbay

Help with External links at Constructal law[edit]

I'd appreciate it if you point the directions to include external links (EL) in an article. Is that also a policy of "popular literature". Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mre env (talkcontribs) 18:49, 23 July 2014 (UTC)

See WP:External links. It's not helpful to simply list a bunch of articles. Wikipedia is not a directory. Outside sources are useful to support statements in the article but just listing them is inappropriate and suggests an attempt to artificially increase a topic's notability. I suggest finding a few instances of popular literature, those that do the best job of handling the topic, and use them to improve the support for statements in the article. If you do that, be sure to use good citations and provide links when available.
If you are a proponent of constructal law theory then you need to be careful about keeping your personal point of view from biasing your contributions. Jojalozzo 02:29, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
Thank you for pointers and the advice. I started to work on Wikipedia and CT page last year. It's been up since 2005, I guess.
I welcome any guidance to keep it neutral and based on published literature. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mre env (talkcontribs) 19:27, 24 July 2014 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of beaches in Bahrain may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Liberty in North Korea peer review[edit]

Hi Jojalozzo, I have a peer review request open on the Liberty in North Korea article. It has been open since September 3rd and I've noticed many other articles with peer review requests haven't been reviewed. If you wouldn't mind reviewing it, I'd greatly appreciate it. I would be willing to peer review another article or otherwise compensate if you like - I've already peer reviewed the Turkey article to make it 1:1 for requests/reviews. Anterior cruciate ligament tear[edit]

Hi Jojalozzo! I noted your comments to robertafra concerning rotator cuff tear. A similar situation appears to have arisen with edits to anterior cruciate ligament tear by 76:126:129:143 on September 21. In this case, edits by the latter and Kenneth R Stone seem to indicate that they are one and the same, prompting the question "Why would one edit from more than one account?" Interestingly, there is a wiki dedicated to Kenneth R. Stone, authored in part by Kenneth R Stone. Of course, if multiple addresses belong to the same person, it could have been created entirely by Kenneth Stone. Your comments would be appreciated. --Mdscottis (talk) 22:04, 23 September 2014 (UTC)
