January 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Jaipur has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://twitter.com/#!/jnvjaipur. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Your edits on Ra.One[edit]

Your edit here is rather unclear of motive; what exactly do you mean by "It really full detailed version of ra-one, which can't be wiki's objective; plzz make it efficeint". I'm sorry, but it is not that Wikipedia is an efficiency machine. We are here to compile facts and present them in an encyclopaedic format. Your edit is being reverted; understand that for a film, saying about its first theatrical trailer is of utmost importance in the Marketing section. ~*~AnkitBhatt~*~ 04:58, 20 February 2012 (UTC)

I did not assume you had bad intentions at all, just that they were unclear. I am sorry but the points about theatrical trailers are absolutely necessary; they are a vital part of any film's marketing campaign. ~*~AnkitBhatt~*~ 17:15, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
Senior user? LOL. You needn't call me that at all, in the end we are all just editors, there's no hierarchy of any sort. Let me just clarify: the release of the theatrical trailer means that the promotion of the film has begun from that time. We have to write about the start of the promotional campaign too. That's why the bit about the trailers is essential. Hope this clears things up. You are most welcome to continue editing on the article; after all, the more the merrier :D. Cheers. ~*~AnkitBhatt~*~ 04:43, 24 February 2012 (UTC)

Re: Maximum(film)[edit]

I didn't delete the article, I don't have that power, since I am not an administrator. I simply moved the article title to Maximum (film), the content is still intact. RHaworth (talk · contribs) deleted "Maximum(film)" because it is an implausible redirect, which it is. QuasyBoy 18:39, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 4[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Untitled Kathryn Bigelow Osama bin Laden Film, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Thriller, Bigelow and Jason Clarke (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Question and one more Observation[edit]

Do we have to pay to create an article in Wikipedia? And your major productions in Optimystix Entertainment is incomplete, as i remember that it has worked in many more shows which I don't remember now and in many more advertisements, and yes, please do cite some references. --Jagadhatri২০১২ 15:28, 15 March 2012 (UTC) And if possible please upload a logo image for Saas Bina Sasural, which does not violates the copyrights. --Jagadhatri২০১২ 15:28, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

No one is asking money my dear, remain cool. This is not a news story which gets published or get frequently cited, its short information, if you like to add more you can add it. Also what can be logo for a TV program, its just title so no need of logo. Jpmeena (talk) 17:16, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

I understood that, so thank you a lot, but I was asking that that is adding information which I have done, am doing and will do; but if i myself create a fresh new artiicle, like on Ravi Dubey, which does not exists, then do we have to pay?? --Jagadhatri২০১২ 03:44, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

No you don't have to pay anything, but you can't create pages which are

  • biased in nature
  • having publicity agenda
  • not neutral in content
  • unnecessary in nature etc.

for more you can refer to Wikipedia policy at here. Your pages will be deleted if they violate its policy. Jpmeena (talk) 06:04, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

Thank you so much!!--Jagadhatri২০১২ 06:16, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would ask that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not on Talk:Optimystix Entertainment. Please do not assume ownership of articles such as Optimystix Entertainment. If you aren't willing to allow your contributions to be edited extensively or be redistributed by others, please do not submit them. Thank you. Your messages on the talk page - even the altered one - do not assume good faith. It also appears that you are attempting to own the article by writing the message in the first place. Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology[edit]

I'm not sure I understand this edit summary. You said "this is fact, whether promotional or not comes later". What do you mean by "comes later"? Many (maybe most) of the facts in existence are not included in Wikipedia from various reasons. This one is a promotional fact so it should not be included. It may be considered boosterism as well, a sort of pick and choose (what's the average salary? why not list the lowest salary?). Placement sections are also very often borderline indiscriminate information. If you look at other India university articles you will see placements are very rarely included, and often removed on site by experienced editors, so it is also against common practice. Don't you think we have such facts for all those institutes? We choose not to include them because it is against policy. --Muhandes (talk) 08:52, 4 April 2012 (UTC)

"Comes later" doesn't indicate that it's a promotional fact. Most "Indian Universities" don't offer placements, and most IITs or NITs or engineering colleges offer placements and you can find placement sections there. What I can support you about is that because this particular fact gives a distorted picture of placement scenario so 1-2 lines can be written in addition about general scenario. Since this 'unusual fact is important so it needs to be in light( because other institute pages can't contain this fact). JPMEENA (talk) 14:27, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
Really? for "most IITs or NITs ... you can find placement sections"? I beg to differ. Of the seven original IITs only two have placements section, and only one of them mentions salaries. Of the eight new IITs none have placements sections. Of the 23 NITs only one (except MNNIT) has placements section. I may have missed one or two, but for sure that's not "most IITs or NITs". Please try to be more accurate with your facts next time. As you can see, common practice is very clearly not to include such sections. --Muhandes (talk) 15:01, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
But that certainly means that other article can have section in this context. JPMEENA (talk) 16:08, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
No, it just means three articles out of 40ish slipped under the radar. If I had the time I'd remove those as well. With your permission, and since we are not going to agree on this, I am going to copy this entire discussion to the article's talk page, so other editors may comment. I think it would be best to restrict future discussion to that talk page. --Muhandes (talk) 08:07, 5 April 2012 (UTC)
I must say this is the first time in over four years I'm in Wikipedia that someone minds if the discussion is copied, but I'll honor your wishes. Please, though, lets keep future comments to the article's talk page so other editors can participate easily. --Muhandes (talk) 09:56, 5 April 2012 (UTC)
Thank you! When discussion is on article talk page why to copy someones talk page.JPMEENA (talk) 10:02, 5 April 2012 (UTC)
It's common practice when discussion was split by mistake (my mistake in this case) to copy it back together. Sometimes it is put inside a collapsed box using {{Hidden}} and sometimes not. Again, the only purpose is to put all facts in one place so discussion will be easier. I reiterated the important parts of my claim at the article's talk page which is almost as good. --Muhandes (talk) 10:08, 5 April 2012 (UTC)

My concerns have been addressed, and this article is well on its way. Good job! - Jorgath (talk) (contribs) 14:02, 8 May 2012 (UTC)
I have restored the template to this article, as the content continues to follow too closely on this source. There is more information at the talk page. Please note that the template directs that it is not to be removed, except by an administrator or an OTRS agent. Evidently, your removal of the template last time was based on a misunderstanding of our position here; while the website that you mention may indeed copy from the official site, we do not have verified authorization for the content from the official site. Therefore, the problems remains and is substantial. You are welcome to rewrite the article from scratch, but should do so as the template directs in a subpage. You can reach it directly by following this link. If you have questions, you are welcome to come by my talk page or leave them at the article's talk page, and I will try to clarify. Thanks. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 11:22, 15 May 2012 (UTC)

Re:Edits at Satyamev Jayate (TV show)[edit]

Can you please indicate which edits of mine are "un-referenced and self-proclaimed" as claimed by you as I believe all my edits are very well referenced with reliable sources. Can you also provide me with some examples of similar TV shows which are featured articles as I cannot afford to spend time finding out a similar TV show of similar format so that it can be referred for the article format The link of the featured articles (BTW its not feathered articles as you say, please perform a spell check before you post any such notification) is very well known to me and simply directing me to a major link with numerous articles will not help. Though I appreciate your work at the article, I suggest you to please perform a check at the history if I've brought the quality of the article or increased it significantly. I also suggest you to please do a thorough analysis before making any such claims and posting any such notifications again in the future. --Msrag (talk) 04:14, 8 May 2012 (UTC)
