Page blanking is vandalism, even if it's a talk page. Let it be. -- Ipstenu (talk|contribs) 01:33, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:Tanya Baxter, you will be blocked. Ipstenu (talk|contribs) 01:43, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalise Wikipedia, as you did to Hermione Granger, you will be blocked from editing. --Fbv65edel / ☑t / ☛c || 20:44, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hillary Rodham Clinton[edit]

Please stop adding "Diane" to the full name in Hillary Rodham Clinton. It has been taken out by several other editors now. If you think the name should be changed, then try discussing it on the talk page. If you can gain concensus, then the change will occur and not be reverted out. If you continue to add this in, you will likely either be blocked for vandalism or on a WP:3RR violation. Thank you. --StuffOfInterest 16:28, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings[edit]

Hello K157, it looks like you're fairly new here and you're contributing quite a bit however from the looks of your talk page here you seem to be ruffling some feathers. Have you had a chance to familiarize yourself with some of Wikipedia's principles? With all of these warnings popping up on your user page unfortunately you may learn the hard way that the adminstrators have a way of preventing you from editing. I invite you to respond here on your talk page. (Netscott) 02:18, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion[edit]

I have proposed Kellyann Tolemeo for deletion because it fails to meet the criteria of WP:BIO. Wikipedia policy allows you or any other editor to remove the proposed deletion tag I have put on the article, but if it is removed, I intend to nominate the article for deletion by AfD per Wikipedia:Guide to deletion.

Also, if you are related to or close to this person, please read and follow our conflict of interest policy. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 02:59, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Ava and Tanzie Marchetta, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. janejellyroll 03:33, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't do copy/paste moves like you did with Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Use WP:RM instead. Thanks. —Wknight94 (talk) 19:39, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Caroline Reynolds[edit]

I have reverted your recent edits to the article, Caroline Reynolds, as the use of the President infobox template cannot be used for fictional characters. The other character template was removed as there is an existent Prison Break character template and only one needs to be used. Regards, Ladida 23:54, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not use the President infobox template in a fictional character's article. For more information, see Wikipedia:Writing about fiction. Regards, Ladida 00:00, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please choose a suitable and appropriate image size and refrain from using any large image sizes. This keeps the page more neat and more presentable as an encyclopaedic article. Regards, Ladida 00:04, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

K157, I really do not want to have an edit war with you. The format of the article currently does not need any modification. If you want to improve the article, please edit the text of the article instead using the guidelines in Wikipedia:Writing about fiction. Regards, Ladida 00:14, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion warning[edit]

A tag has been placed on Conrad Chisholm, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Jeodesic 18:05, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

recent edits[edit]

You probably don't mean to do this, but you're classifying several women presidential candidates as "Margaret Chase Smith". -- TedFrank 14:38, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Page move of Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom[edit]

Please do not move pages, especially high profile, established pages, such as the move you performed with Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom. Any moves of such pages should be discussed on the talk page first to establish consensus before the move if performed, as such pages have thousands of incoming links. Moves like this can be seen as being disruptive, and continuation of such actions may result in further action being taken. Please ask if you have any questions. Thank you, mattbr 22:10, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As per above please do not move pages without discussion. Anne Hathaway (Shakespeare) is so titled to distinguish her from Anne Hathaway (actress). This is in conformity with WP naming conventions. She is not and never has been known as "Anne Hathaway Shakespeare". Paul B 17:45, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Page Blanking[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent contribution removed content from Talk:Tanya Baxter. Please be more careful when editing articles and do not remove content from Wikipedia without a good reason, which should be specified in the edit summary. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -- Ipstenu (talk|contribs) 22:29, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I simply made it seem more official changing Dick Cheney and Bill Clinton to Richard Bruce Cheney and William Jefferson Clinton. Please tell how this is vandilism. Thank you, K157.

HRC as health care taskforce head[edit]

see HRC talk - I don't think this belongs in the infobox. Tvoz |talk 15:43, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Same point about other additions you've been making to infoboxes of other articles - way too much unnecessary detail. For example, Laura Bush should be identified as First Lady, not as honorary chair of whatever that was. Nancy Pelosi has an infobox for Minority whip- does not need to also say Democratic whip. It's overkill and it renders the infoboxes useless. Tvoz |talk 03:02, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Personally, I believe your edit was correct, but I reverted it nonetheless, as there seemed to be a broad consensus on the talk page that the heads of each of the coequal branches of American government should be listed in the Infobox. Raise the issue again on the talk page if you feel it necessary, but, if not, keep in mind that the article is a current FA candidate: Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/United States, and there are several more fruitful edits that can be made flowing from the comments there. Thanks, MrZaiustalk 00:43, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Recent HRC article changes[edit]

K157, you should get a consensus on the Talk page before radically changing the section structure. Also, your writing is quite substandard: this is formal writing, it cannot be filled with bad spelling mistakes, you cannot be referring to people by their first names, and so forth. Wasted Time R 02:29, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And also please consider the level of detail. Is "... called her while she was having coffee in Bill's kitchen one afternoon" really appropriate for the main article? Wasted Time R 02:30, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was coming over here to say essentially the same thing. Tvoz |talk 02:58, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Just to be clear- especially when an article has achieved GA or FA status, editors should discuss major changes on Talk before going ahead and restructuring. Tvoz |talk 03:11, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also, please note that consensus is to not have the LSC or judiciary committee in the infoboxes. ALso the succession box for LSC was not consistent with the articles it pointed to, and has been removed. Please don't reinstate any of this without consensus - you're of course welcome to make your argument for any of it on the article's talk page. Tvoz |talk 05:43, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Delia Parodi[edit]

I've heard that the name "Parodi" is very, very common in the region of Italy that my grandfather came from. People from that region, Genoa, settled in three main placed: New York City, San Fracisco, and Buenos Aires. So, in some long range way I may be a very, very, very distant relative of Delia Parodi's. I do know that an ancestor of mine was born in Argentina, later moving to the US. But that's about it. Perhaps just an interesting coincidence. Take care. -- Andrew Parodi (talk) 11:52, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
