This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Kattigara, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Oc Eo. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 22:44, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Ref tags[edit]

Please remember when you're adding those "ref" tags that as well as opening them with <ref> you need to close them with </ref> each time. You've forgotten to close them twice in edits to Norfolk Island, which results in masses of text being treated as a reference. BigHaz - Schreit mich an 00:32, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

Ditto for your work on Doubtful Sound. Please check your edits afterwards! You're doing good work - but please don't force other people to clean up the "fallout". Cheers and happy editing. Ingolfson (talk) 23:04, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Edward Heawood on the Dieppe Maps[edit]

Hi Kattigara - the new section you've added on Edward Heawood is very interesting. However, I have moved it to "Alternative Interpretations" as it doesn't seem to fit in terms of chronology or opinion, where you've put it - after Peter Trickett. Perhaps we should re-think the subheadings in the article - sort of "for" and "against"? cheers--Nickm57 (talk) 05:59, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

Dieppe Maps[edit]

Hi Kattigara - I get the impression you don't read Discussion pages, so I am writing here again. I greatly enjoyed your new edition to the Dieppe Maps, but have re-ordered the text on the page with new subheadings (The contents box was halfway through the article). Please have a look and see what you think. Your new text I have put under the heading "The Dieppe maps and French territorial aspirations", but I'm not sure that does it justice.

Please don't be offended, but I do feel some of your writing, esp. in the second and third paragraphs, is not as accessible to lay readers as it might be. Cheers, --Nickm57 (talk) 03:52, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

Good work on the most recent additions Kattigara - in the vain hope you read this!Nickm57 (talk) 08:00, 18 October 2010 (UTC) Thanks. It's nice to be able to make a contribution, but nobody has all the answers, least of all myself, so it's also good to be subject to editorial scrutiny, correction and improvement! WA Maritime Museum website[edit]

Hello Kattigara. On 15 April 2010 you edited Dirk Hartog Island and incorporated a link to the WA Maritime Museum's website. See your diff. This link related to the statement that a parchment and two French coins were left on the Island as proof of its French ownership. The WA Maritime Museum website has been substantially revised and your link no longer functions. I am hoping you will be able to locate the new web address for your link. Best regards. Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. In Terra Australis, you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Magellan (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.

NLA mapping our world links[edit]

Hi Kattigara,

I've noticed that you've been adding some links/references to articles using information from the National Library of Australia "Mapping our World" exhibition catalogue etc. I am the social media manager at the NLA and also a longtime Wikimedian - and have made a variety of sources available about this exhibition's content under free licenses. Specifically - you might like to know that several videos about the items in the exhibition are on Commons here commons:Category:Maps in the National Library of Australia. Equally, the first two chapters of the exhibition catalogue are online with a cc-by license here[1]. Please advise if you'd like more information. Sincerely, Wittylama 00:04, 7 January 2014 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Hà Tiên may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
