Proposed deletion of Lencho Letta[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Lencho Letta has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. DoriTalkContribs 01:46, 9 November 2012 (UTC)

November 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Lencho Letta has been reverted.
Your edit here to Lencho Letta was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://oromopress.blogspot.ca/2012/10/chronology-of-evolution-of-oromo.html) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 02:36, 9 November 2012 (UTC)

Deletions of reports about massacres[edit]

I had objected to your deletions of sources about massacres. But you pointed out that they were not live and reliable links. I withdraw my objection. May God give peace to all of the Horn of Africa! Pete unseth (talk) 00:17, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

Oromo Liberation Front[edit]

You added references to "Conflicting reports of Arba Gurga Massacre" and "Reports stating that EPRDF had committed Bodeno Massacre". What are these reports? Who wrote them, who published them, and where can our readers find them? Please see WP:CITEHOW. Thank you, -- Gyrofrog (talk) 13:24, 6 September 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for December 26[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Tadesse Birru, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page British (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Speedy deletion nomination of Bekele Gerba[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Bekele Gerba requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. reddogsix (talk) 03:31, 29 December 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Battle of Tiro[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Battle of Tiro requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

AnupMehra 07:15, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

Battle of Tiro[edit]

Hello LencaOromo, I noticed you recently created an article Battle of Tiro with the infobox but no contexts so whatsoever. It was tagged for speedy deletion under section WP:CSD#A1 of criteria of speedy deletion for lacking enough contexts to identify the subject of the article. Later article was expanded and that is why speedy deletion tag has been removed now. However, I would like to let you know that article heavily relies on one source and that is some blog url. Blogs are not considered reliable sources. I'll request you to find and cite reliable source in the body of the article to verify the contents of the article. See, Wikipedia reliable source examples. This page provides examples of what editors on Wikipedia have assessed to be a reliable source. Thanks for creating the article. Cheers! AnupMehra 07:33, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
