The last edit was verbatim from Dave. Contact me (and/or him) via email so we can get it right, which is the primary concern. I'm not going to share personal messages that I had with him on wiki where they are permanently recorded. As is, there is a problem with WP:SOURCE, so if it is not concrete and accurate to the point that everyone agrees, the timeline should be removed. I'm not being argumentative, but there is definitely a discrepancy between you and Dave that needs to be rectified, and if it can't, the info should be removed unless it can be sourced.
