Welcome[edit]

Hello, Liamsoprych and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students. Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, if your class doesn't already have one.

Go through our online training for students.

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Helpme}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and should be treated accordingly.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Stuartyeates (talk) 22:37, 28 May 2013 (UTC)

June 2013[edit]

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Democracy. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Saddhiyama (talk) 08:15, 7 June 2013 (UTC)

I disagree with Saddhiyama's assessment of your addition to that article. I think what you did is fine; but I do think you've taken on a rather challenging task for a new Wikipedia contributor. You will find that on a widely read and possibly controversial article like Democracy, it is important to develop some consensus around whether or not a point like that is appropriate for the article. I don't presume to know the right answer, but I think if this is something you feel is important, you will need to talk it over on the article's talk page and solicit some views from other frequent editors of the article before others are eager to accept this kind of edit. -Pete (talk) 03:42, 14 June 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Pipeburn Motorcycles[edit]

Hello Liamsoprych,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Pipeburn Motorcycles for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Green Cardamom (talk) 06:09, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
