Re: Childbirth[edit]

Hello, it's not the usefulness of the reference or external link that's really the issue, it's their reliability. That reference is not a good source for a medical article since we strongly prefer journal articles, and I suspect that the person who added it had a conflict of interest. However, the "Signs" section seemed a little empty to me and as it turns out, it used to contain a lot more text, so I've restored the information that used to be there, since it's mostly well-sourced. Regarding the video, there is no authorship information on it and it could be a copyright violation, which should not be linked. A person using many IP addresses has been adding the link to various articles like this, this and this. I figure that if somebody is so desperate to get their links onto Wikipedia that they have to resort to tactics like that, something must be very wrong; also no long-term editors have ever added links to that site. Feel free to add a link to another childbirth video that isn't a copyright violation; anything from a large reputable organisation like the National Institutes of Health, the National Health Service or the Mayo Clinic would be fine. Locust[edit]

I've deleted the information because it is superfluous, as I explained on the Talk page of the article. Your accusation of vandalism is quite irritating. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.78.191.236 (talk) 20:37, 8 August 2012 (UTC)

64, I think you may have misread your talk page. Lineslarge last commented on your page on June 30 to warn you about vandalism on a different article. I am the only one who has contacted you regarding your deletion of the table on locust. Your edit was not vandalism and is not being perceived that way. --Jprg1966 (talk) 20:40, 8 August 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for December 21[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited British Computer Society, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page CITP (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi Lineslarge this is CatCars.

Who are you?

"Your recent edit to Car check seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now"

Are you GOD? How arrogant a statement is the above. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CatCars (talkcontribs) 23:41, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

Rosemary West[edit]

I rolled back the change, but I surely don't want to be in an edit war. Please let's discuss this on the article talk page. It seems that the new ruling should just be added, instead of removing the old ruling, so the entire story is told. —    Bill W.    (Talk)  (Contrib)  — 18:43, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bella jasiurkowski[edit]

Hello, this case is so obvious we don't even need to do an AFD here. I went ahead and deleted the page and the AFD. We might as well save people's time and effort for cases that are more arguable. Friday (talk) 19:25, 21 February 2014 (UTC)

BLP Violation Peter Ludlow[edit]

Please take care when accepting revisions that are bot marked as possible BLP violations as you did here. Reviewers aren't expected to be content experts but we are required to take care that we don't accept revisions that are in breach of policy. Flat Out let's discuss it 23:40, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for your message. Would you mind spelling out for me exactly what the policy violation was? I did see that the edit was one-sided so added an extra sentence of my own that I thought made it more WP:NPOV. The source used appeared to be mainstream media and I thought that was good enough for inclusion. Lineslarge (talk) 04:15, 5 March 2014 (UTC)
I have now read what you've written on both the article's talk page and the BLP Noticeboard. I wasn't aware of that aspect of policy. Rest assured I get it now and will bear it mind for the future. Thanks. Lineslarge (talk) 11:14, 5 March 2014 (UTC)
Thanks Lineslarge. Flat Out let's discuss it 22:44, 6 March 2014 (UTC)
