Welcome!

Hello, Lommaren, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, especially what you did for 2003–04 Celta Vigo season. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. Hello AGreenEarth! I am an experienced person on this site, I just made a new account so I could upgrade to the new version, because the old one had some bugs that made it hard to edit the same time as listening to Internet radio. My old name is Roslagen and I've done thousands of edits both here and in the Swedish-languaged version. So no need for introduction! Happy endings! Lommaren (talk) 16:13, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for the information. If I had known that earlier, I would have not welcomed you again. --AGreenEarth (talk) 14:14, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

Names in other languages and hyperspecific information[edit]

Hello, please do not add names in other languages of places where the language is not commonly spoken, as you did to Nice, among others. Also, there's no point in adding hyper-specific details about sports to major city articles, as you did to Liverpool and Northern Ireland. They'd be far better in sub-articles like Sport in Northern Ireland and articles about Liverpool's football clubs. And when you add these details, you must cite your sources. Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Uranium City, Saskatchewan. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 21:15, 21 September 2013 (UTC)

Oceanic Climate Changes[edit]

Hello Lommaren. We appreciate the changes you made to the Oceanic climate page. We had a debate about the listing of charts a while back and it was decided that we did not want a gallery of charts on the individual Koppen climate pages. Otherwise, what would happen is that many would then insert their favorite city’s chart into the page creating an even larger gallery. Roughly three cities (from typically different continents) are enough per page. G. Capo (talk) 14:52, 23 September 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Örebro may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

No original research[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, and ideas—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you.. This notice is in reference to the continuing comparison of the weather of Willow Creek with other towns. Information about Willow Creek, California needs to stay in that article and not spill out into other towns all over California's North Coast. Thank you. Ellin Beltz (talk) 01:06, 26 October 2014 (UTC)

Please read about No Original Research[edit]

Greetings again: I did not appreciate the tone of your edit summary on Happy Camp, California; especially the profane language. I removed WP:NOR, uncited original opinion "Happy Camp has a borderline warm/hot-summer mediterranean climate with large diurnal temperature variation and continental tendencies, resulting in hot and dry summer days with cool, wet winters with regular air frosts." Please read up on NOR as this type of edit has been added by you to various towns in Northern California. If you can find a published, secondary source that says that information, please add the source, otherwise please refrain from edits of this type. As for your complaints that it takes a long time to add weather data, I have done it for several towns in Northern California and understand the time committment. What I don't understand is your apparent need to editorialize on the weather of these towns. Please keep your polite on if you'd like to explain why constant NOR edits. Ellin Beltz (talk) 09:01, 6 November 2014 (UTC)

Again I remind you that adding comparisons, such as you have done repeatedly to weather of towns of Northern California constitutes Original Research. Please read WP:NOR before continuing to add comparative and unsourced material to these pages. "Google" for distance is not at all the same thing as a reliable secondary source for the statement you just reverted on Willow Creek, California. I have just read NOR in the Swedish Wikipedia. It says the same thing as the one does in English. Please take a moment and read it before making more edits. Thank you. Ellin Beltz (talk) 00:09, 6 December 2014 (UTC)

December 2014[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Willow Creek, California, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 00:20, 6 December 2014 (UTC)

  • I just took a look through your contributions and I see you are in the habit of composing your own analysis of weather patterns based on nothing but weather statistics. This is original research and cannot be placed into Wikipedia. If you want to publish your thoughts about why observed weather patterns are the way they are, then write a book or a travel guide. Do not compare different climates or propose a possible cause-and-effect for weather patterns without citing a source which makes that exact observation. Below is a list of articles from which I have removed instances of your original research, going back through one month of your contributions. Please examine the nature of my removals so that you can begin combing through your problematic contributions in a similar manner, going further back than one month, ideally all the way back to your first climate edit two years ago.
