I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Dear LorenzoB, Thanks for your corrections on the page 'Chemnotaxis'. You helped to make the English of the page better. Kohlasz 11:10, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

Your edit to Rail terminology[edit]

The basic problem was that you forgot the </ref> tag at the end of the citation. I'm an expert in leaving it off, believe me!--Old Moonraker 14:25, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Submarine[edit]

thanks for the copyedits there. That's a thankless job (uhhh....except this time...where you get thanked) and I'm glad someone (not me) is willing to do it. Protonk (talk) 00:17, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

Queen Mary[edit]

Thanks for cleaning up the awkward wording of the RMS Queen Mary article. Looks a lot better now! Binksternet (talk) 01:47, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Theodore Kaczynski[edit]

Thanks for your edit to the article! Just a quick note: your edit was a copyedit and not a wikification, as wikification usually implies that terms were linked to other wiki articles. Anyways, I really appreciate your edit! Gary King (talk) 18:15, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

WikiProject California roll call[edit]

Flag of California.svg

Hello from WikiProject California!

As part of a recent update to our project main page we are conducting a roll call to check which members are still active and interested in working on California related content. If you are still interested in participating, simply move your username from the inactive section of the participant list to the active section. I hope you will find the redesigned project pages helpful, and I wanted to welcome you back to the project. If you want you can take a look at the newly redesigned:

As well as the existing pages:

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask at the project talk page, and add it to your watchlist, if it isn't already.

Again, hi! Optigan13 (talk) 00:19, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

Submarine[edit]

Because of your work at Submarine, I would like to invite you to join Operation Nautilus, a collaboration of editors dedicated to improving the quality of submarine articles, perhaps like you and me. WikiCopter (radiosortiesimageslostdefenseattack) 04:14, 8 November 2010 (UTC)

Sambos[edit]

You wrote-The photo of a former Sambo's location serves no purpose on Wiki whatsoever. I nominate it for removal That in no way will happen. You have no valid reason for its removal. The point of the photo is to show what the closed down Sambo's restaurant looks like now, what they have been turned into etc. If you try to remove the photo I will add it back to the article every time it is removed. In fact,I think I will place Sambo's on my watch list.Leave well enough alone please.--99.177.248.92 (talk) 20:58, 14 January 2012 (UTC)

{{Jctint}} and {{CAint}}[edit]

At the above pages is the documentation for the junction list templates. Unfortunately, you caught me while I was converting from the old code to the templates above; that's why the table's a little off. --Rschen7754 05:26, 12 July 2012 (UTC)

Metros on IH page[edit]

Hi, I commented about the lack of any mention of the Metros (van, trucks, or otherwise) in the IH article, Talk:International_Harvester#Vehicles --Scalhotrod - Just your average banjo playing, drag racing, cowboy... (talk) 17:55, 12 August 2012 (UTC)

Readability cleanups on Vacuum flask[edit]

Thanks for working to make articles more readable and with cleaner wordings. However, please be careful...your changes to vacuum flask altered the meaning rather than "simply" simplfying the writing style. I undid/reworked a bit to revive what seems to be meant there. DMacks (talk) 03:03, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

Minor Edits?[edit]

Lorenzo, the edits you just made to Distant Early Warning Line were marked "Minor", but they don't meet the requirements for Minor edits (see WP:Minor). For example, I'm not sure your change of every occurrence of "U.S." and "United States" to "US" was an improvement. I think it would be a good idea not to mark edits "minor" unless you are certain they could never be the subject of dispute. Thanks! — UncleBubba T @ C ) 05:15, 17 October 2012 (UTC)

Abbreviating "Second World War" to WWII[edit]

Why do you think it is worthwhile to abbreviate "Second World War" to the less formal and less descriptive "WWII"? Why, especially, do you think it is worthwhile when doing so creates a 91 kB addition to the archive that would not be there otherwise?

"Always consider whether it is better to simply write a word or phrase out in full, thus avoiding potential confusion for those not familiar with its abbreviation. Remember that Wikipedia does not have the same space constraints as paper." — Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Abbreviations
