Vandalproof

Hi. VP1 does have some bugs, I experienced some as well. VP2 has been released recently, maybe you should try it. :-) It's just one file that doesn't require installing, so it's pretty simple. You will have though to ask for an ID and password on the IRC channel. Vandal fight becomes very enjoyable with VP2. Cheers. --Húsönd 16:11, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

What IRC program do you use?--Húsönd 16:46, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

Incorrect Warning

Hey, you appeared to give me a warning for adding nonsense to Wikipedia (as can be seen here), but I made no such edit, and my User Name wasn't even mentioned, so I think you may have accidently directed this warning at the wrong person! The Haunted Angel 19:44, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

Userbox: User friendly

I recently noticed the userbox migration, and since the one userbox I have created (User friendly) has been moved, I would appreciate it if I could keep it in my own userspace - I can handle the requirements as per Wikipedia:Userbox_migration#Migration_of_the_Userboxes.

Since it's currently in your userspace, I figured I'd let you know what I'd like to do before I start anything. Nihiltres 22:04, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

Thanks! I'll move it now. Nihiltres 22:43, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

rv 1 edit (Middle Ages)

[1] --Stbalbach 13:50, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Look at the article history tab. Note that there were two anon edits in a row. This is a common trick anon vandals use because they know someone will revert the first vandalism, but not look at the one prior to it. So what you have to do is first establish the last known good edit, then check all subsequent edits since then, and revert back to the last known good edit. -- Stbalbach 13:58, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Anti-Gibson vandal

Not a problem, we should all look out for each other! Budgiekiller 14:50, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

AOL anon & 'N Sync

Thanks for catching that page blanking. It's getting really old...apparently the same person continues to add the same crap to the 'N Sync article with edit summaries like "rv vandalism". It's seriously frustrating that we can't permanently block an AOL IP. -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 15:42, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Vandalism

How did I vandalize the Big Mac page? I was merely simplifying the 1010mg to 1g because 1000mg=1g. I have never vandalized any page on Wikipedia, I swear. I am simply trying to improve or simplify things here. If it looks like vandalism, it isn't on purpose. 192.235.1.34 20:33, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Model year vs production year

I understand that in USA, cars for a certain model year usually released in the previous year. However, in the Corolla article, in the box of each generation the row says "production" not US model year. For example, for eight generation, production started in 1995 (mentioned in title line), but you are using 1996 for the production in the box. So please either change 'production' in the box to US model year or please use 1995 as production start year —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 61.29.66.145 (talkcontribs) .

Thanks for understanding my previous edits. I am new that's why it was annon. But now I have an ID: a4980 —The preceding unsigned comment was added by A4980 (talkcontribs) .

Thanks

Thanks for editing my quote page. You rock, Hooray for quotes--Seadog.M.S 20:43, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

I just wanted to let you know that User:PotatoMan01 is coping off of you, his userpage is basicly the same layout. --Seadog.M.S 14:58, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Randfan's userpage was the weirdest userpage I have ever seen-Seadog.M.S 18:55, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
That is really weird/creepy/funny/dumb/shocking/cool/awsome/fluffy. Choose the word you feel best defines those actions-Seadog.M.S 19:03, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

By the way, I do not have sockpuppets. The other users are either A) friends I've seen in person, or B) I'm just trying to be nice to people (though now that I think about it what I did may only have harmed you, for which I'm truly deeply regretful). Randfan 21:14, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

It's okay!:)

Sorry

Sorry for taking your ideas for the user page I will delete them. However, I would like to use them so if it pleases the Light I would ask your kind permission. I will give you credit for everything that is yours. I found your page and the above coment very funny. Sorry again

please note: I will not take the above info. off until I once again (because all previous declinations to accept and approve of all previous ("anti-")permission(s) are negated through this action) you give exsessive and obvious prohibition to the right for each individual item in reference. This is do to the fact that I would prefer not to go through all the trouble to get it back. This was put in the most respectful and courteous manner I could think of and should not be thought of in a negative light. Once again, sorry.

Post Scriptum: I liked your story a lot. Randfan 19:37, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Thank you!!!!!!!!! I really liked them thats why I did it. Besides, this will now give you more fame.

And on a side-note, what do you think about my user page based on what seadog gave you. I say creepy and slightly (lol) cramped and stupid!

Thanks Randfan 19:42, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Found your page fluffy, too. Randfan 19:48, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

done?

Okay, I think I labeled everything... If you see anything that you made up and that I didn't label please tell me. =-) Randfan 19:57, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Okay, but could you tell me how so it still appears in a box? Randfan 20:00, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Thank you Llama for everything, remember if I missed something just tell me! I'll start editing (adding credit too you) PotatoMan's user page, unless if you have a problem with that or require me to do something differently.  :)Randfan 20:27, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

to make up for it I added this Image:status.gif to the top of your talk page. And, yes, I did have permission to use this before I did! :) Randfan 21:37, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

and this OMG to your user page (still have permission) Randfan 21:39, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
never mind it tells people if they are online or offline and that would ruin the joke. Randfan 21:41, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Colourful name

Have you ever considered making your name colurful like SeaDogs? His looks cool. Randfan 21:06, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Welcome to Esperanza!

Welcome, Llama man, to Esperanza! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.

Now that you are a member you should read the guide to what to do now or you may be interested in some of our programs. A quite important program is Stressbusters, which seeks to support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. We will send you newsletters to keep you up to date. Also, we have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.

In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Proposals.

If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact our administrator general Natalya by email or talk page. Consider introducing yourself at the Esperanza talk page! Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). If you're new to IRC, you may find help at an IRC tutorial. I thank you for joining Esperanza, and look forward to working with you in making Wikipedia a better place to work!

hi now i am using the two scripts of monitoring vandals and pop us script but usually when you revert a vandaled article it will get warned directly on the main page of the article but sometimes now just asking y ? and one more question is it okay to use the second script for monitoring vandals . --Jhabib 23:36, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
