Your unblock request[edit]

Matt, when your unblock request gets rejected by an administrator, you are supposed to post a fresh unblock request rather than attempting to change the wordings of a declined unblock request, as you did here. At the same time, I have seen that after I increased your block to indefinite, you've posted a cumulative acknowledgement of the issue on your talk page (and unfortunately deleted the same in consecutive edits). I see the effort you've taken and am assuming good faith that you will not repeat your edit warring behaviour again. I'm therefore reducing the block and allowing you to edit again. My strong suggestion would be to read up on the following pages before you resume editing:

Matt, it looks like you're trying to make an unblock request, but the template is formatted incorrectly so this might not attract the attention of any admins. If you want to make the request, try using wikicode like this: {{unblock|reason=Yesterday I edited the film [[Gossip (2000 American film)|Gossip]] and I removed its template, that's what made HJ Mitchell block me. ~~~~}}

BUT FIRST – you'll need to work on your unblock request before it has any chance of succeeding. You weren't blocked for making one particular edit, but for making many unhelpful edits of a similar type over a long period of time, even after several people asked you not too. You'd need to convince an admin that (1) you understand why your edits were inappropriate, (2) that you won't make similar edits in the future, and (3) that you'll be able to make helpful edits so it's actually worth unblocking you.
