You are seeing this because in my patrols for vandalism, I saw you had edited a page. I also noticed that your talk page (this page) had a red link. That meant that the talk page didn't exist yet. You're welcome. I should note that you might want to create at least a basic user page. You will note that at the top of this page, your name is in red. That is because you have yet to create it. It is your user page. The problem is that edits by users with red-linked user pages draw more scrutiny than those whose user pages are created. You don't need much. There is no reason to think that any given newspaper photo will be public domain. The vast majority of pics in newspapers (or anywhere else) are protected by copyright.Geni 22:56, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rationale For Rating[edit]

The chart was created for a reason and at most this article can get a rating of High. If you feel so strongly about it make a discussion on the Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Fraternities and Sororities, for now I will take the rating down. As for the actual claim that Kappa Alpha Society "is the progenitor of the modern fraternity system in North America", this does not ring true in my mind. I would like to know where this piece of information comes from, if there are any sources that claim it especially if it is not Kappa Alpha Society literature. The line in question is essentially a quote from Baird's Manual of American College Fraternities. The actual wording is: "and is the forerunner of the present vast system of American college fraternities."
