Declined speedy[edit]

Hello you declined the speedy on 3Man Band, however the subject has been deleted three times at AfD while at 3MB. More creations resulted in 3MB being protected from creation, which is why it was now created at this title. It is most certainly subject to G4 deletion, that should be more then clear. Unless you think there should be a fourth AfD on the same subject within two years. STATic message me! 17:26, 22 June 2014 (UTC)

While I agree with you that the article probably needs to be deleted, G4 specifically states that it "excludes pages that are not substantially identical to the deleted version". I looked at 3MB and 3Man Band, and the two were significantly different. Sadly, AfD is probably the appropriate route to go here. Thanks, Mikaey, Devil's advocate 17:33, 22 June 2014 (UTC)

Recent block[edit]

Just wondering if this user [1] is able to reply to WP:CHU/S ? Thanx, Mlpearc (open channel) 19:22, 28 June 2014 (UTC)

He should be able to respond on his talk page. Aside from that, I don't have a problem with him being unblocked long enough to respond to the request on WP:CHU/S. Thanks, Mikaey, Devil's advocate 19:23, 28 June 2014 (UTC)
Thank you, I'll ping you if needed. Mlpearc (open channel) 19:27, 28 June 2014 (UTC)

Redirect question[edit]

Hello! Why are you redirecting Queen Margaret of Denmark to a disambiguation page where several of the women listed were not queens of Denmark? --SergeWoodzing (talk) 19:24, 2 July 2014 (UTC)

I didn't make that decision. There was some edit history under Queen Margaret of Denmark; I just did a history merge to bring it all under Margaret of Denmark. If you look at the edit history of that page, you'll see that someone else made the decision to redirect it there a number of years ago. Thanks, Mikaey, Devil's advocate 19:32, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
Fixed. Tnx! --SergeWoodzing (talk) 21:11, 2 July 2014 (UTC)

New histmerge feature[edit]

Hi Mikaey. You might already know about this (and if so, please feel free to ignore this), but there's a new feature that can help with histmerges in some cases, Special:MergeHistory. Check out Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Archive263#A Wikipedia feature I just discovered today - good for history merges for a little bit of discussion about it if you're interested. Cheers, Jenks24 (talk) 11:23, 1 August 2014 (UTC)

Interesting! No, I didn't know about this one. (I'm not up on the administrator noticeboards, sadly...real life takes up too much of my time.) Interestingly, it doesn't make any sort of log entry on the target page (although it does put something in the page logs for the source page...along with a handy little "Unmerge" link). Thanks for letting me know about this! Mikaey, Devil's advocate 17:26, 1 August 2014 (UTC)

Shows as inactive. Can you restart it? The list of "listas" in the Bio Project templates is 60k+. Thanks. – S. Rich (talk) 20:08, 3 August 2014 (UTC)

I'll look into it, but not right away. I would need to run it past WikiProject Biography to see if they still want this bot run...I would probably need to run it past the Bot Approvals Group as well (since the bot hasn't run in over 4 years). Right now, schoolwork is sucking up a lot of my time, and I don't know that I have time enough to dedicate this, but I'll look into it in a couple of weeks here when I have a break. Thanks, Mikaey, Devil's advocate 21:14, 5 August 2014 (UTC)
Thanks so much. It won't matter if the backlog grows by a few more 10k. Get those good grades before doing anything else. – S. Rich (talk) 21:20, 5 August 2014 (UTC)
