Edit warring at India[edit]

Please do not edit war as you currently are at India. If you continue to do so, you will get blocked. Discuss the issue on the talk page and try to gain consensus instead of just reverting. If you are not already aware, we also have a three-revert rule which you have come to breaking. Trebor (talk) 00:52, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I HAVE discussed at the edit page, and after 2/3 days of messages I SAID I will be changing the sentence to be unambiguous and at the same time use the widely used appellation for India, as can be cited from VARIOUS sources including the BBC. My edit was reverted WITHOUT any discussion, or even edit explanation comment. I think reverts need to be explained. I do not intend to carry an "edit war", but I strongly there is no consensus for the opposing point of view either. So until we can prove there is really consensus for the opposing view, we should have the article reflect what is oft mentioned about India, instead of being our own lexicographer and inventing our own terms (perhaps with an agenda, or unintentional bias?). MintCond (talk) 01:00, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There is no consensus on the talk page to change it. As such, please refrain from reverting and engage in further discussion in an attempt to reach some agreement. Edit warring is not how we do things here (see WP:BRD). Trebor (talk) 01:08, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Are you with us?[edit]

Having opted in for the mediation, you may well be busy with other things. In any case, would you be willing to check in when you get a moment on the talk page?. On the advice of your fellow participant in the mediation, I've just modified my wording, as it may have seemed impatient. I'm not in a hurry, but let me know where you are at when convenient. I was wondering how your availability is now. Would you be able to participate in the mediation now? Sunray (talk) 07:40, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
