Welcome to the Military history WikiProject![edit]

Hi, and welcome to the Military history WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to military history.

A few features that you might find helpful:

There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:

  • Starting some new articles? Our article structure guidelines outline some things to include.
  • Interested in working on a more complete article? The military history peer review and collaboration departments would welcome your help!
  • Interested in a particular area of military history? We have a number of task forces that focus on specific topics, nations, or periods.
  • Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every military history article in Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask one of the h other than project coordinators, or any experienced member of the project, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! Kirill Lokshin 12:30, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lapsus?[edit]

MirrorStage, I didn't want to edit your comment, however I think that you should do that. You wrote: "In 1940's REGULAR forces in Serbia were still Ottoman garrisons." Shouldn't it be written: "In 1840's..."? There are some more similar mistakes. By the way, why don't you join the Wikipedia:WikiProject Serbia, a project which helps us to cooperate on writing articles about the Serbs and Serbia. --Andrija 16:07, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Liberius von Franck[edit]

Hi, I have a question concerning your edit on the article about the battle of Cer where you added Liberius von Franck as one of the austrian commanders. I have searched through a lot on that name but can't find any match nor information other than the edit you made here on wikipedia. Where did you find information about him? What was his background? A source would be nice in this case. Shellwood 15:40, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

An imcomplete article[edit]

Hi, in 2006 you have created the article Western Turkish Army. I won't criticize the contend. But this article lacks some vital information; i.e., purpose of the army, the war the army fought and the date (or even the age) etc. Can you please take time to complete the article. Have a nice day.Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 10:45, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
