Keditz||XXXTENTACION

Hey so, over at the ANI there was a discussion about Keditz and his disruptive editing. One specific example was him changing Post Malone’s Rap Rock genre to Rock when the source stated the former. He has done the exact same thing on XXXTENTACION before it got locked further. If you check right now, the source for rock states “hip hop and alternative rock” (these were my sources which he reverted), and R&B’s source states “alternative R&B”. Plus he reverted other strongly sourced genres (such as Soundcloud rap w/ Vulture. I just was wondering could you revert it back to my genre structure, nitpicking if you feel the genre isnt as strong as i sought for it to be. What is the problem?

I have had a warning about my edits regarding Kirsty Gallagher’s page. All I’ve done is change her nationality from Scottish to British (she also identifies as English, making my edit a change for the better). Either way, she is British. What’s the big deal? Wang Leehom

It’s a stream of logic that I’m citing.

1) Subtitle of article states he’s a Taiwanese-American pop singer. 2) Parents are from Taiwan, and he was born in the US, hence logically that would make him a Taiwanese-American.

Range block request

Regarding your request for a range block, unfortunately I'm not able to do that. Only a checkuser has the ability to find the IP addresses used by registered users. If you want, you can file a report at WP:SPI listing the socks involved and a checkuser may be able to determine a range block that might be effective. Question about rename

Hi, thanks for using the common-terms script. I also tripped up on Thomas Edison earlier in the week, causing irritation in one of its regular editors. It was a rare instance where city and US state need to be linked unambiguously. The script occasionally has to get things wrong: Milan, Ohio will link to the Italian city. It can be piped, or left with both items linked together. Are you interested in running a composite script, which does not only common terms but fixes the hyphen–dash problem (widespread) and date formats? Let me know if you are. Indeed. And I've learned to be very compliant if anyone complains. Or sometimes to disregard reverts, since there's SO much to go on an clean up with a script. Let me say that using these scripts adds to WP's authority by giving a professional-standard consistency and logic to a few aspects of our text. It's a great service to the site, where done carefully. Pinging @Ohconfucius:, the script master in this case, about giving you a composite unlinking–dash-fix–date-fix button (which can be ignored in favour of the specific functions where you wish). Or here's my vector page, but is it css or js? I'm hopeless about tech stuff. The dash fixer pretty much runs itself, with a tiny ratio of false positives. The date format fixer needs serioius oversight to determine whether it's US or non-US, and where not related to a majority anglophone country, if WP:RETAIN applies. People occasionally get upset if it's flipped the wrong way, as I did to an article last week. This edit, and I personally don't even know why you're asking this question. You don't need a discussion to add a review from a trusted source like AllMusic (which is included here, in case you didn't know), and unlike whay you said to 176.166.142.7, genres changes don't require prior discussions, unless there's an explicit consensus through hidden text or the associated talk page (as it's the case for some good/featured articles, but not all music-related articles). I therefore reverted all your unhelpful/bad faith changes performed through Twinkle, considering I took a look at all the sources provided by 176.166.142.7 and Chertel, which are all reliable and meet WP:RS/WP:RSMUSIC. Also note that WP:GENREWARRIOR, unlike WP:V, WP:OR (including WP:STICKTOSOURCE and WP:SYNTH) and WP:NPOV (including WP:SUBJECTIVE) is an essay, not a guideline or a policy. @FlightTime Phone: Hi, I’m not sure if your revert as good faith on the Elvis article is covered by simply “no, it is not”. The word ‘also’ implies ‘in addition; too’, when really he was/is known by his first name and not another name. I’m not going to revert it back straightaway, I want to read what your opinion is on the matter. Neither of us is arguing about the “known simply as Elvis” part, but precisely the word used before that phrase. ‘also’ implies an additional name which isn’t really the case for someone’s actual given name, the definitions of ‘commonly’ and ‘often’ are pretty much synonymous and I would argue either one is more accurate because it’s how he has always been known to most people.--Nature987765 (talk) 03:24, 15 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed this recent edit of yours. This is a pretty decent summary of references to Hecate in popular culture -- some of the works are pretty significant and her role varies from minor allusion to major character. The post itself is not citable, but what are your thoughts on including a section with some of her more significant appearances? It seems to me several fall within WP:IPC guidelines. Regarding this revert; FWIW, that does roughly correspond to the BBC source, which says: 

From the end of April to 10 May, the singer was in the UK on a tour that was documented in the film Don't Look Back. According to Clinton Heylin's Dylan chronology A Life in Stolen Moments, he was then in the UK, France and Portugal until the start of June.[1]
