Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Rolex Sports Car Series, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jordan Taylor (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Information icon Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Burlington Telecom, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. -- DonIago (talk) 15:56, 10 December 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to WFTV may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s and 1 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • * Eboni Deon-meteorologist - {now at [[Al Jazeera America]])

Notable people[edit]

Lists of people must meet the criteria listed at WP:LISTPEOPLE. This isn't the first station article this has been discussed on, and articles have been protected to prevent these additions, or the editors in question blocked when they persistently continue to reinsert inappropriate material. If a name is included in the article in this way, it has to show that it's relevant to the subject by meeting WP:LISTPEOPLE. Just because a station lists its employees doesn't mean Wikipedia needs to as well, and other station articles needing similar cleanup doesn't mean this one doesn't need to be cleaned up, because whenever it's actually discussed on a station article, the end result is the same; the names that don't meet WP:LISTPEOPLE are removed. Wikipedia is also not a directory. See here, here, and here for previous discussions about this. Please read WP:LISTPEOPLE, as it says

Why should I care, or others, who Funke is just because he was notable for that station if I live in the Midwest or the West Coast? Just because he was notable per one station, doesn't mean is notable throughout the entire United States. Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 14:38, 5 November 2014 (UTC)

So I don't think you are understanding what WP:LISTPEOPLE is saying. It states the following:

A person may be included in a list of people if all the following requirements are met:

  • The person meets the Wikipedia notability requirement. An exception to this requirement may be made if the person is famous for a specific event, the notability requirement need not be met. If a person in a list does not have a Wikipedia article about them, a citation (or link to another article) must be provided to: a) establish their membership in the list's group; and b) to establish their notability on either BLP1E or BIO1E.
  • The person's membership in the list's group is established by reliable sources.

I removed the news team section for that reason; they are not notable. I'm tired of arguing with you about this, but I don't think you are quite getting the reason as to why I removed them. I've given you plenty of reasons as to why, yet you don't want to accept the fact they are violating Wikipedia guidelines. Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 20:43, 28 November 2014 (UTC)

Also, Wikipedia is NOT a directory, nor is it a TV guide. Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 21:26, 28 November 2014 (UTC)
