Cecil Blake[edit]

I've discovered that you deleted a page on i on 16 December 2009. This person was my grandfather, and his murder by the IRA at Ballyturin on 15 May 1921 was a signifiant event in the Irish War of Independence and was a very significant event at the time. I'm intrigued why you chose to delete it, and what it contained. This is the first time I've used Talk, and only set up an account tonight, so I hope this gets to you OK! Psedab (talk) 12:23, 6 February 2014 (UTC)

I've actually been inactive for quite a while, and I don't remember the article in particular, but based on what I put in the deletion summary, someone proposed it's deletion based on the fact that he was only notable for one event, which does not qualify for a page on Wikipedia, and since it sat that way for over a week, it was deleted. You can request it to be undeleted, with more information about why he deserves an article, but that does not guarantee that it will succeed. Unfortunately I don't check this page very often, and it was only by chance that I stumbled upon your request, so I recommend following up with other channels if you would like to proceed. Thanks, MrKIA11 (talk) 05:50, 10 February 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for your reply. I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I'll think about what I should do next.101.162.2.59 (talk) 08:36, 10 February 2014 (UTC)

Better source request for File:Cloud Kingdoms Cover.jpg[edit]

Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. Message delivered by Theo's Little Bot (opt-out) 03:17, 11 February 2014 (UTC)

Thea Austin[edit]

Hello, MrKIA11. I see you deleted Thea Austin; could you please restore it because she provided lead vocals for Rhythm is a Dancer and for Soulsearcher's song Can't Get Enough? Thank you.--Launchballer 13:37, 5 June 2014 (UTC)

Quick question[edit]

Hi MrKIA11,
WP:VG's Newsletter department is looking for editors to interview for our Featured Editor column, and your name has come up in discussions during previous quarters as a likely candidate. From your edit history it is apparent that you are not currently as active an editor as you once were, and it's completely understandable if you don't have the time to be interviewed any more. But if possible, we'd love to hear your story from you.
The interview consists of some 15 questions that you can answer however you like and which you can tinker with up until the newsletter is published. Our hope is to have a small number of interviewees cued up for upcoming Featured Editor columns so your interview would most likely appear in a future issue. You can review previous interview questions here to get a sense of the kinds of questions you would be asked. If you see this note, please let me know at my talk page if you would be willing to answer some questions for the Newsletter. Thanks! -Thibbs (talk) 14:22, 17 July 2014 (UTC)
