From a ***** who refuses to follow the rules[edit]

I did not vandalize anything, you need to read the notes, before making assumtions, {Someone copied the filmography section I CREATED on the main page and put just that filmography on a seperate page, then linked it back to the main page, making it redundant information because, the only stuff on the seperate page was the exact same as on the main page, which was just plain stupid and was just wasting space}. If you read the notes you will see that.Rogue Gremlin 03:25, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No thanks, Cause I take it you didn't read the notesRogue Gremlin 02:15, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There was a note there asking for an admin to remove, for the reasons i had stated, just because you fail to be able to comprehend anything is not my fault. So Please do this ***** a favor and DO NOT respond Rogue Gremlin 03:06, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What citation is needed in Paul Mooney article?[edit]

This is a stand-up comedy, how can citation be made?

Heber[edit]

Someone alerted me to a free version of the California index - it can be searched at http://www.familytreelegends.com/records/39461. I added a citation from that to Heber's article. Hope that helps. Cheers, Mad Jack 21:35, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Quotectomy[edit]

I appreciate your bold edit to History of Family Guy. Just so you know, WP:FGjokebook is something I dreamed up one night. While it's reasonably consistent with WP:NOT, there has not been a consensus review of any sort, so I wouldn't yet call it a "guideline", even within WP:FG purposes.

I'd call a convention of the WP:FG editors to see if we can establish a consensus, but current participation is very low, and the active editors tend to object to guidelines that exclude anything.

If interested, you'd certainly be welcome to sign up. / edg 21:21, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey fellow Wikipedian! Your username is listed on the WikiProject Films participants list, but we are unsure as to which editors are still active on the project. If you still consider yourself an active WP:FILM editor, please add your name to the Active Members list. You may also wish to add {{User WikiProject Films}} to your userpage, if you haven't done so already. We also have several task forces that you may be interested in joining as well.

Also, elections for Project Coordinators are currently in sign-up phase. If you would be interested in running, or would like to ask questions of the candidates, please take a look. You can see more information on the positions at Wikipedia:WikiProject Films/Coordinators. Thanks and happy editing!

Orphaned non-free media (Image:MorkMindy.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:MorkMindy.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 20:17, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Television programs based on plays[edit]

Hi, Could you be careful with this category - you seem to be adding it to films. Thanks, --BelovedFreak 21:24, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, my apologies then. I have a different understanding of the word, but as you created the category, I'll let you define it. I reverted a few of your additions by the way, so sorry about that. However, The Laramie Project (film) doesn't seem to be defined as a television film either on it's article or by imdb.--BelovedFreak 22:25, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Sunset Boulevard (2008 film)[edit]

An editor has nominated Sunset Boulevard (2008 film), an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sunset Boulevard (2008 film) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 02:59, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Guest stars on The Wire[edit]

I notice you've made a few alterations to the guest star lists for recent The Wire episodes. Could I ask if you have a source for any of your changes? I'm confused as you stated on Not for Attribution that Vincent M. Ward played the pastor but then changed this back to show that he played Butchie's bodyguard. What changed your mind? Also on React Quotes you changed John Badila to a newspaperman. Was there a source for this? I thought from looking at a photo of Badila on google images that he was the desk sergeant but this is just guess work on my part.--Opark 77 (talk) 14:32, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also I note that you added an M. initial to Scott Templeton and Alma Gutierrez - what was the source for this?--Opark 77 (talk) 14:35, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the reply. I re-googled those actors before posting here and definitely agree that you are right (on the desk sergeant). You are right that I am working from guesses and google. I hoped you ahd a more concrete method I could adopt! Isn't Sophia Wang Sonja Sohn's daughter? I think that was my thinking on that one, I came across a report of her being in the episode in a sweet scene and made the assumption on that.--Opark 77 (talk) 18:52, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
LOL. You certainly proved I needed one with Bobby J. Brown! That would be great.--Opark 77 (talk) 19:13, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Lar_larabee.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Lar_larabee.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Raylene Lee[edit]

Hey MrBlondNYC. I got the surname for Raylene Lee from the H file closeups in The Dickensian Aspect. She is down as a Lee on there. I was particularly proud of getting Bug's name - Aaron Manigault - as it is only in focus as the Bunk turns the page. Kind of sad really :( --Opark 77 (talk) 12:04, 16 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Season 4 credits[edit]

Noticed you made some edits to "Soft Eyes" today, if you do get a chance to check the credits from the article against the credits from the episode could you put them in number order? John Leguizamo[edit]

You want to talk facts, then we will talk facts. This has nothing to do about my heritage pride. The fact is that there are many reliable verifiable sources out there which state that his father is Puerto Rican, among them the "New York Times" in the following article: A Mambo King Speaks Words of Comedy; By GLENN COLLINS; Published: January 23, 1991. But, hold it, believe it or not I'm going with you on this one. Leguizamo does state in his bio. that his dad is 1/2 Puerto Rican. Here is a funny thing, I found a site that states that his mother is 1/2 P.R., so you go figure. So, I guess we're cool, right? Tony the Marine (talk) 05:01, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

1/4 Puerto Rican, 1/4 Italian and 1/2 Colombian? Sounds like he had two dads and one mom then. If you keep tracking back into people's ancestries by percentage I would be 1/3 African, 1/5 Taino, 1/7 Spanish, and not Puerto Rican at all. No one would be 100% anything either. ~RayLast «Talk!» 13:08, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You obviously didn't get what I said, which has nothing to do with math. Nice brain work genius. ~RayLast «Talk!» 03:06, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Not to make this an issue, since Leguizamo does state in his bio that he is 1/4 this, 1/4 that and so on. To a certain point I understand that said information is posted with a reliable source as required by Wiki policy (I myself, saw the entery in his bio). But, what I ask myself is "Why even bother posting that in the article"? I can understand some people being curious as to the parents of the subject, but who cares from where a subjects grandparents, great-grandparents and so on came from? What is the point? What does this information add to the encyclopedic nature of the article? Tony the Marine (talk) 21:54, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Per the cover and the official site, the imdb seems to be on error and this should be all one word, superfight. Is it possible you could move it to the correct title, or could I request such a move with your consent? 86.44.28.245 (talk) 04:24, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I see you say it was originally released under this title, never mind then. 86.44.28.245 (talk) 04:26, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I believe that you posted a tone tag to the Bringing Out The Dead article... If so, would you mind checking my attempt to clean it up. Thanks. BubbaStrangelove (talk) 14:13, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I can't figure out where the tag came from, but thanks for taking a look... and for the seal of approval! BubbaStrangelove (talk) 08:44, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This User's Abuse of other Users[edit]

This user sent me a vicious and inappropriate message alleging vandalism. This user doesn't know what he is talking about. Just because he is a Howard Stern fanboy doesn't mean he is protecting the integrity of the encyclopedia by eliminating corrections to the Stern Show page which accurately reflect that the program is not reality, but a scripted performance. His edits are inappropriate and his messages to other users are inappropriate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.232.130.202 (talk) 10:30, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is Not a Fan Magazine[edit]

This person seems devoted to turning the Howard Stern Show entry into a fan magazine entry. The program itself is replete with references to "writers" and "writers' meetings." I find the efforts of this "contributor" to be more in keeping with a public relations campaign than with development of responsible encyclopedia articles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.232.130.202 (talk) 11:22, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Himomposter.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Himomposter.jpg.

Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:09, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Frank White (fictional character) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced, not notable independent of the film, which has its own page at King of New York.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bdb484 (talk) 18:06, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

My Keep was reluctant because, in my judgment, the Hit Squad article is doomed to be a perpetual stub, a footnote in the history of rap/hip-hop music. As an entity, the Hit Squad didn't have a distinct and memorable identity, logo or style. It was a loose conglomeration of talent that performed together for a few years, broke up, and then got back together for a reunion performance. Occasional reunions may recur in the future but I don't think there will ever be a substantial Hit Squad Wikipedia article. I prefer substantial articles that can continue to grow and mature but there's a place in Wikipedia for smaller articles, those "footnotes," when the subject is notable enough to meet Wikipedia standards. Hit Squad did so. Take care, DocTree (talk) 01:16, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for October 21[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Joseph Vásquez, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Puerto Rican (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Reporting an editor[edit]

Thanks for your message on my talk page. I think you were referring to "ClassicOnAStick". I see you and that user edit a lot of the same wrestling articles. I didn't report that editor. They are definitely not a vandal, just one of those Wikipedia outliers who frustrate people but overall make positive edits. Cheers. Magnolia677 (talk) 21:05, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please avoid changing "Trump" to "Drumpf"[edit]

Hi Mrblondnyc. In one of your recent edits, you changed the word "Trump" to "Drumpf". I assume that this was unintentional and caused by having the Drumpfinator extension enabled. To avoid this kind of mistake in the future, please disable the extension before editing articles that mention Trump. Thank you. —Granger (talk · contribs) 21:34, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
