AMT ridership numbers[edit]

Stop removing the ridership templates from the station articles. That is not how to do it. Reference does not exist. If you know where the new numbers come from - tell me and I can fix it! Secondarywaltz (talk) 01:40, 9 May 2013 (UTC)

Hi Secondarywaltz, sorry about that, I just found out that the new numbers came out and wanted to update them. Here is the link to the 2012 statistics: You can update them if you want to. Mtlfiredude (talk) 01:43, 9 May 2013 (UTC)

All you need to do is update the information in one place at {{AMT ridership}} and the pages will be updated automatically. I recommend doing it offline in a text editor. If you have troubles I will keep an eye on the results. Secondarywaltz (talk) 01:53, 9 May 2013 (UTC)

It says "ERROR" at the top of the template page when I click on the link you inserted. Mtlfiredude (talk) 01:56, 9 May 2013 (UTC)

That is the default. "ERROR" is returned if the entry does not exits. Click "edit" to see what is in there. Secondarywaltz (talk) 02:00, 9 May 2013 (UTC)

Thanks! All the ridership numbers have been edited now. Mtlfiredude (talk) 02:25, 9 May 2013 (UTC)

OK! When I get time I will check your numbers - just in case :-) There is still a problem with the link from the reference to the Rapport Annuel 2012 pdf file in the AMT lines articles. Secondarywaltz (talk) 02:33, 9 May 2013 (UTC)

Fixed it now. Mtlfiredude (talk) 02:35, 9 May 2013 (UTC)

Uploaded image files[edit]

To Commons.svg

Thank you for uploading free images/media to Wikipedia! As you may know, there is another Wikimedia Foundation project called Wikimedia Commons, a central media repository for all free media. In the future, please upload media there instead (see m:Help:Unified login). That way, all of the other language Wikipedias can use them too, as well as our many sister projects. This will also allow our visitors to search for, view and use our media in one central location. If you wish to move previous uploads to Commons, see Wikipedia:Moving images to the Commons (you may view your previous uploads). Please note that non-free content, such as images claimed as fair use, cannot be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. Help us spread the word about Commons by informing other users, and please continue uploading! Secondarywaltz (talk) 23:05, 19 June 2013 (UTC)

June 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Réseau de transport de Longueuil may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Good picture! Have you been for a road trip? Secondarywaltz (talk) 00:34, 16 July 2013 (UTC)

No, I took the MSH train, so you could call it a train trip!

Speedy deletion nomination of Tom Condos[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tom Condos, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Fiddle Faddle 11:55, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:LeRoccabella.jpg)[edit]

Ambox warning blue.svg Thanks for uploading File:LeRoccabella.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 15:57, 17 September 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for October 6[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Montreal, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Champlain Bridge (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Mascouche Line (AMT)[edit]

You seem to have very precise information about the opening dates for the Mascouche Line and stations. Please include references for this in those related articles or at least tell me where you got the information and I will do it for you. Secondarywaltz (talk) 23:01, 10 May 2014 (UTC)

Good evening, can you record the word quête with a Quebec accent in Wikimedia Commons please ? (talk) 22:37, 2 June 2014 (UTC)

Air Transat and its operating bases[edit]

Hello, just to clarify, Air Transat has operating bases rather than airline hubs. Air Transat is not in the business of connecting passengers at YUL, but rather serves point to point markets. Ex. a flight from YUL to FLL is filled 100% with people who started their journey in YUL. Now, on the other side of the spectrum, if we take Air Canada for example, their same flight from YUL to FLL might be 75% Montrealers, 5-10 people from Halifax, 15 people from Quebec City, 2 people from Winnipeg, and so on....Air Canada IS in the business of operating a hub in YUL, and therefore carries a lot of connecting traffic through YUL, something Air Transat doesn't do.

Understand the difference? Therefore you cannot list Air Transat as a hub airline in Montreal, or Toronto and Vancouver for that matter. This is the same reason why Virgin Atlantic, based at LHR and LGW, isn't listed as a hub airline at either airport.

See definition of airline hub for more details. Thank you,
