Faroese[edit]

Hi Mulder,

I notice you put [c, ɟ] as alt pronunciations of the postalveolars. Would you mind quoting the reference where you got this info? The reason I ask is that the symbols <c, ɟ> are frequently used for postalveolar affricates, and even placed in the palatal plosive cell of the IPA chart when they have that value, so unfortunately the symbols are meaningless unless they're specifically described as stops.

Interlingua[edit]

Just so you know, "Romance" is a noun, and "Romantic" is an adjective. In some of the replacements you made in Interlingua, changing the adjective to the noun could work (as the result was a noun phrase), but in others, it was just nonsense. Almafeta 08:37, 13 August 2005 (UTC)

Formuladeildin 2008[edit]

Hi! I've noticed that you speak Faroese and are interested in Faroese culture (maybe even live on Faroe Islands). Could you tell me (if you know) when will be played the remaining matches of Formuladeildin 2008? I've searched everywhere but I couldn't find anything. Maybe this or this can help (although I don't have a clue what that could possibly mean). SonjiCeli (talk) 22:30, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

Faroese translation[edit]

I saw you were a native Faroese speaker. Can you translate the sentence in italics for me, please? We do not have any native Faroese speakers involved in the Wikimedia Denmark chapter yet.

Wikipedia:WikiProject Intertranswiki/Faroese[edit]

Hi! I'd like to invite you to join this project, intended to be a collaboration with WP:Faroe Islands. We need Faroese speakers to join. What do you think? Dr. Blofeld White cat 18:45, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

House Sparrow[edit]

Can you answer my question, posted at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Faroe Islands, as to whether House Sparrows have any particular significance in the Faroes, and so whether they should be included in the scope of WikiProject Faroe Islands? Please leave a note at my talk page. —innotata (TalkContribs) 20:27, 27 December 2009 (UTC)

It was the sparrow, not the starling. —innotata (TalkContribs) 15:59, 3 January 2010 (UTC)

I've just removed the Faeroe tag from House Sparrow. —innotata (TalkContribs) 19:43, 3 January 2010 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to 1985 1. deild may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
