Railroads of Hawaii[edit]

"Railroads of Hawaii, Inc." is the company that operates the LK&P. You have a good point, though; I'll disambiguate. --NE2 12:47, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Buses in Hawaii[edit]

Maui Bus

I've got the logo ready to upload, but I can't do that until you post the article you have in preparation. There are also some images of buses in Commons. Fares are generally not considered to be encyclopedic and a note similar to what they have on their homepage would be sufficient.

The fare on most regular routes is $1.00, with free travel on Kahului Loop, Wailuku Loop and Lahaina Villager. Monthly passes are also available with a reduced rate for students and seniors.

You should definitely post the article about the the Maui Bus, even if you have to remove some info that's non-encyclopedic first. It seems like a notable transport agency in a very popular U.S. county. 67.53.48.2 (talk) 02:16, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Roberts Hawaii transportation

Do you think the correct title should be "Roberts Hawaii"? I notice you recently created a redirect which blocks me from moving it to that name. If you request a speedy delete of that redirect by user (you), we can then change this.

TheBus

I moved this to TheBus (Honolulu) to disambiguate from all the other bus companies using the same name.
Thank you.-Secondarywaltz (talk) 18:48, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

I've requested a speedy delete for Roberts Hawaii to allow the move. Regarding the Maui Bus article, I was planning on doing more research over the next few weeks to fill it out before posting it, but if you'd like to get it into the article space already, go ahead and copy whatever I have so you can start the article. Musashi1600 (talk) 06:46, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
No hurry. Aquiring logos for bus infoboxes is something I do, but an aticle is better when composed with some local knowledge. Here in Ontario it is very cold (-20°C), and perhaps I should come to Hawaii and ride the bus. -Secondarywaltz (talk) 14:03, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
  • Have you seen these pictures in Commons? -Secondarywaltz (talk) 00:10, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

Media related to Buses in Hawaii at Wikimedia Commons

Yes, I took five of those photos myself. ~_^ Musashi1600 (talk) 07:45, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
How stupid of me. Why didn't I check that? -Secondarywaltz (talk) 13:16, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

Copyedit[edit]

Yes, I will be happy to do a copyedit for you, but it may be a couple of days before I get to it. If you don't hear from me by Monday, please drop me a reminder. Scartol • Tok 22:26, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the reminder. I apologize for the delay; it's been a busy time for me. Your article is next on my list, however, so I should get to it today or tomorrow. Scartol • Tok 14:50, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
All done. Comments are on the article talk page. Cheers! Scartol • Tok 13:10, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Copy edit request[edit]

I will gladly take a look at the article. I also left a note on the FAC page that I would be copy-editing. I will be able to get to it later tonight (Pacific time). -Pax85 (talk) 22:42, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

Not to worry, I have not forgotten about the article. It's just that I saw Duchess copy editing, and I didn't want to stumble over her edits, so I decided to wait for her to finish. I should be able to sit down with it tonight. Sorry for the delay, and I hope you understand... -Pax85 (talk) 21:01, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

Honolulu Copyedit[edit]

Yes, I will copyedit the article Honolulu High-Capacity Transit Corridor Project. Thanks for letting me know about it! Duchess of Bathwick (talk · contribs) 22:48, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

Copy edit complete[edit]

I have finished going through the article. If you have any questions, or need any more assistance, just let me know. A word of caution: watch the parenthesis, which are usually not necessary, and keep the same tense throughout the article. This last one can be tough, I know, because this is still a current event.

Now if I could get to Hawaii to see the project, that would be an accomplishment! I'm on the mainland. :) Thank you for having me come on over to work on this one!!! -Pax85 (talk) 06:26, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

Democratic Party of Hawaii Leadership[edit]

Thank you for expanding on my recent edits to the Democratic Party of Hawaii article regarding the state House and Senate leadership. As noted in my edit summary, I knew that Colleen Hanabusa has not served as State Senate President since becoming a U.S. Congresswoman last January, but did have any updated information readily available. --TommyBoy (talk) 23:34, 26 October 2011 (UTC)

Important Notice: Your 2013 Arbitration Committee Election vote[edit]

Greetings. Because you have already cast a vote for the 2013 Arbitration Committee Elections, I regret to inform you that due to a misconfiguration of the SecurePoll we've been forced to strike all votes and reset voting. This notice is to inform you that you will need to vote again if you want to be counted in the poll. The new poll is located at this link. You do not have to perform any additional actions other than voting again. If you have any questions, please direct them at the election commissioners. --For the Election Commissioners, v/r, TParis

Semihemidemi Barnstar for you[edit]

Darn, when I put that in, I knew it was going to be ambiguous and made a mental note (quickly forgotton) to hover over it to find the proper term. Good, accurate, and fast catch! --Lineagegeek (talk) 22:50, 27 December 2013 (UTC)

May 2014 disambig contest: let's do it again![edit]

Greetings fellow disambiguator! Remember back in February when we made history by clearing the board for the first time ever, for the monthly disambiguation contest? Let's do it again in May! I personally will be aiming to lead the board next month, but for anyone who thinks they can put in a better effort, I will give a $10 Amazon gift card to any editor who scores more disambiguation points in May. Also, I will be setting up a one-day contest later in the month, and will try to set up more prizes and other ways to make this a fun and productive month. Cheers! bd2412 T 18:49, 28 April 2014 (UTC)
