Reinke's crystals[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! I came across your new article Reinke's crystals - thanks for contributing it! I did have a question - the title of the article is Reinke's crystals but the text reads Reinke crystals (no possessive). For now I changed the text to match the title, but is the non-possessive form correct? Searching turns up both forms. IIRC the trend in medical terminology is to eliminate possessive forms where possible. Thanks! Opabinia regalis (talk) 05:10, 11 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for noticing. Yes, non-possessive is in vogue, but since it was my first edit/entry ever and I was branching off a reference on the Leydig cell page which used the possessive I was unsure how to proceed. Is it best to change the title of the page, and if so do I have to manually change the links on corresponding pages or is that done automatically? Thanks Musashi San17 (talk) 01:58, 12 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ahh, I see. Changing the title of a page is accomplished by moving an article, which leaves a redirect page behind at the original title. So you can manually edit incoming links for consistency's sake, but you don't need to. Since your account currently has too few edits to move articles (see autoconfirmation) and the non-possessive form is preferred, I went ahead and moved it (and undid my edits to the text).

Thanks again for your help. I'm a busy medical student, but I will definitely check it out! Musashi San17 (talk) 15:45, 12 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
