Better source request for File:YouAreMore.jpg[edit]

Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. Message delivered by Theo's Little Bot (opt-out) 03:17, 8 February 2014 (UTC)

Request reason:

There are no clear or glaring BLP violations. All the content I added was well-sourced, from outlets like the Washington Post, New York Times, etc. This is a content disagreement, not a BLP problem. Blocking editors is no way to resolve content disputes. Instaurare (talk) 21:11, 30 July 2014 (UTC)

Decline reason:

The reality of the situation is that you have been edit warring for several months. After your block expires, I suggest you use the talk page to establish consensus instead of edit warring. PhilKnight (talk) 21:56, 30 July 2014 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first and then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page for as long as you are blocked.

Request reason:

In response to the above, I repeatedly attempted to reach consensus with the other editors by imploring them to discuss the content on talk. They refused, and edit-warred without discussion. Yet I am the one who is blocked. This block is being used to influence content, not enforce policy. Instaurare (talk) 22:44, 30 July 2014 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Policy says "no edit warring". Evidence is you were edit warring. That's all we need to know. --jpgordon::==( o ) 14:00, 1 August 2014 (UTC)

Request reason:

The other users I have been edit warring with have not been blocked. Again, this is evidence that this is a block to enforce one position over another.

Decline reason:

The behaviour of other users and whether or not they should also be blocked is, frankly, irrelevant. I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yunshui  12:00, 7 August 2014 (UTC)

Have you read WP:NOTTHEM? If you haven't, please do. You may decide to change this request. 10:20, 2 August 2014 (UTC) Posted by Peridon who is wondering what happened to his sig.)
I don't think WP:NOTTHEM applies. I am arguing that the fact that the 2-3 other editors have not been blocked means that the block was imposed to ensure that their position is the one that is adopted. I'm not simply whining. Instaurare (talk) 18:31, 4 August 2014 (UTC)
Well, except, you are. When it's one person insisting on one version and multiple people disagreeing, it's the one person who will, every single time, be blocked for edit warring. It doesn't matter at all what the content is; your approach will not work here. --jpgordon::==( o ) 20:47, 4 August 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for September 30[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Barbara Comstock, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Frank Wolf. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
