[edit] Chinese Origin Of Playing Cards

My move of 14 October 2009. The correct title of the article is Chinese Origin Of Playing Cards (check EL). Now I can't move it ! Sorry to bring you such a trifle thing dear, but don't you worry, next time I'll bring you a big big big problem, ok ? Thanks for you support Nancy.......:) Krenakarore TK 13:41, 2 March 2012 (UTC)

[edit] New Page Triage engagement strategy released

Hey guys!

I'm dropping you a note because you filled out the New Page Patrol survey, and indicated you'd be interested in being contacted about follow-up work. This is to notify you that we've finally released both the initial documentation about the project and also the engagement strategy, which sets out how we plan to work with the community on this. Please give both a read, and leave any comments or suggestions you have on the talkpage, on my talkpage, or in my inbox - okeyes@wikimedia.org.

It's awesome to finally get to start work on this! :). Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 02:31, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

[edit] Lost Children

The article I edited was removed. I simply stated an oral tradition but did not know how to cite it. I know it is true what I edited/added and may have ruffled some feathers because of the oral traditions I simply posted into the article. Poeple get ruffled whe a person mentions Hitler or Jeffrey Dahmer and other monsters, but the articles and editings are not deleted, why should mine be any different? So, what is to be done now? Some freindly advice would be welcomed. Thanks, Njgst2 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Njgst2 (talkcontribs) 20:24, 5 March 2012 (UTC)

Hi Njgst2. The removal of the story section from that article was absolutely nothing to do with your very small changes but everything to do with the fact that the entire section was a copyright violation of someone else's work which was introduced when the article was created and had been there way (years infact!) before you made any edits to it; normally we are quite fast at detecting and removing copyright problems but this one had slipped through the net and had been up for sometime even though someone had flagged it on the talk page when the article was created some years ago. Hope this helps to explain, kind regards nancy 06:42, 6 March 2012 (UTC)
