And since 2005 with the help of all family members we were able to add more than 31500 new names into the previous family trees as documented by Dr. Shuwayhat. Also, with the help and team effort of 1000's of members we were able to add more articles and stories to the family biography and history.

From Dr. Shuwayhat Book

"Al' Uzaizat In Madaba"

== Where Al' Uzaizat Tribe name came from and when! ==

Two brothers "Mousa AL' Jamoua" and "Salameh AL' Ghishan" and later the total of 90 families (Christians and Muslims) joined them and branched through out the Middle East with rich family history that has been documented since year 629 A.D. Or during the famous battle "Mu'tah Battle" (حرب مؤته) where the Islamic Army failed to open one of the strong hold Castles "The Crusader Castle" that cost the Islamic Army many lives; and the news reached Prophet Mohammad (ص) by one of the famous Islamic Army leaders "Khalid Bin Al' Waleed" that several members of our family were able to save lives and assisted him to open the Castle without blood shed and the Prophet ordered "Al' Sahaba" to honor the family and were called by "Al' Uzaizat " The Prophet ( عز وكرم عليهم ) "Azza Wa-Karrama Alyhum". In the 1970's this incident was confirmed to be true when asked about its validity by "SHEIK AL' MUFTI AL' KAHTIB" of Jerusalem.. Details in Arabic Enter

Dr. Shuwayhat mentioned in his book "Al' Uzaizat in Madaba" that there is no known documents to prove the legitimacy of the story, but there is no smoke without having a fire! And what has been said about Al' Uzaizat is what was carried and told by one person to another through out the centuries and nearly for the past 1400 years. It is the typical Middle Eastern traditions to communicate, and no one will dare to write or say somthing that could be related or connected to the history of Al' Uzaizat families especially if it was not the truth being said, they will feel that they have been offended and they will fight you back with whatever means to keep the truth alive, family reputation comes first and (No Gossip). Many stories had similarities in its contents except for the "NAMES" of the person (s) that being recognized!

Al' Uzaizat families originally resided and travelled beween three Countries known today by Jordan, Syria and Lebanon and the majority of Al' Uzaizat families are Christians and currently lives in Jordan.

Other stories; They have been called by Al' Uzaizat in reference to their ancestor's (Great Great Grandfather) "Abdelrahman" and his loyalty and assistance to the Muslim Army in fighting The Crusaders (Al-Room) nearly 1400 years ago during Mu'tah Battle معركة مؤتةwas fought in 629 The news reached Prophet Mohammad (Al' Nabie Mohammad) "God prayed upon him"(ص) (Sallah Allah Alieh Wa-Salam) and the Prophet asked his follower friends (Al' Sahabeh) to honor "Abdelrahman" for his role, and many stories were told that brother "Sager" was also involved.
