Tamil Nadu

If the page has "Wikipedia:" at the beginning, then it's not an article and should go to WP:MFD. But these seem uncontroversial, so I've tagged them for speedy deletion. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 06:16, 7 September 2013 (UTC)

Delhi royal residences

hi Naveen, I was wondering if you know of any way how we could obtain pictures for all these houses in Category:Royal residences in Delhi? Do you know anyone who could contribute or where this could be requested? I know that some are probably easier than others (such as Jaipur House), but there has to be some way. Interior images would be nice too, as difficult as that might be. Thank you. Gryffindor (talk) 17:24, 9 January 2014 (UTC)

Hey Naveen,

Doing good. How about you?

Do let me know some more details - the first link seems to be broken. Do you have another existing reference map? Additionally, I'm hoping that you'd be needing a schematic map and not a geographic one?

Also do let me know the timelines you have in mind for this.

Shaji Writer

Hi I came to know that you wanted to delete the wiki page on me https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaji_(writer) for reasons that there is nothing much written 'on' me. Though I have made some edits on it, I am not the one who created the wiki page on me. I am primarily a Tamil writer with 5 books on my credit and there is much written on me in Tamil print media. I don't know how much of that available online. In Malayalam too I have written one book and more than 50 articles. I may be the only trilingual writer in India fairly known in 3 languages. Moreover I have acted in 5 Tamil movies so far.

The words Shaji, Shaaji, Shaji Chennai, ஷாஜி, ഷാജി ചെന്നൈ must give reference links like the above but I believe it is not my job to find references online on me and add it to the wiki page. If you still think my page needed to be deleted, so be it but it will never be my personal loss. Thanks and best Shaji — Preceding unsigned comment added by 219.64.75.72 (talk) 08:55, 23 September 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. I noticed your recent edit to Template:Railway stations in Kerala does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Are you curious how your peers approach writing a Wikipedia article? This exercise, pioneered by Wikipedians Nikola Kalchev and Vassia Atanassova in 2015 and conducted in many places around the world, will help us all - from first-time wiki users to veteran Wikipedians - share ideas, while building an article together. If you have ideas (relating to Bay Area history, ideally) about a new article we could build (stubs and short existing articles are fine), please submit them ahead of time to coordinator Pete Forsyth. (User talk page or email is fine.)
Announcements and impromptu topics are welcome, too!
