Orphaned non-free media (Image:Biostar.gif)[edit]

Ambox warning blue.svg Thanks for uploading Image:Biostar.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:48, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Liam Hearn[edit]

Hi, I'd like to complement the good work you've done with Liam Hearn, although I have to contest your assertion that the career stats table you've added is used "by the majority of players". This is not the case; it is almost exclusively Leeds players' articles that use this table, as an editor who added them seems to insist on going against what most articles actually use. As it currently stands, the Hearn career stats table does not use en dashes for season ranges (2011–12 is correct; 2011-2012 is not). And I am puzzled as to why a "Loan" column should exist; Hearn has never played for a club on loan in his career, and if he were to, "loan" can be added in parentheses. Having a wikilink to "Football League" is incorrect as Hearn has never played in this competition, so it should either be removed or changed to "Conference National". The "League Cup", "FL Trophy" and "Play-Offs" (should be "Play-offs" anyway) columns are completely redundant as Hearn has never participated in these competitions. And there's always the problem that the table is not sourced. You've done a great job sourcing the prose but a Soccerbase link would probably be appropriate for this table. Although, Soccerbase do not cover his FA Cup 4QR/FA Trophy appearances, so sources should be added to back these up. Hope this hasn't ended up sounding like a massive rant... Anyway, keep up the good work. Cheers, Mattythewhite (talk) 22:56, 17 January 2012 (UTC)

Hey Nelly. Good job on the Andy Cook article. I see you really want the article to be notable and if there is anyway I can help dont be afraid to ask. Good luck and I hope your work does not fall in vain. Cheers. --Arsenalkid700 (talk) 03:00, 13 June 2012 (UTC)

Andi Thanoj[edit]

Hi Nelly, how do you think a crack at making an Andi Thanoj and Shaun Pearson page will go down? Do you reckon there are enough stories and sources for notability? Regards UTM Footballgy (talk) 23:02, 26 June 2012 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Any evidence that Boylen the footballer and Boylen the politician are the same? GiantSnowman 19:43, 13 July 2012 (UTC)

"Boylen – who was part of Town's 1971/72 title-winning side – speaks regularly to chairman Mr Fenty as both are North East Lincolnshire councillors." Nelly 1975 (talk) 20:08, 13 July 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for September 3[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jack Byrne (footballer), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Portugal national under-23 football team (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
