Kumarasinghe Sirisena[edit]

I have noticed that you have been working hard on creating an article on Kumarasinghe Sirisena however by just listing his professional credentials does not make him notable and it is highly likely that the article will be deleted. You need to ensure that it complies with the basic principles of notability. You can find these at WP:BASIC or WP:ANYBIO. Dan arndt (talk) 14:38, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Just because he is the Chairman of Sri Lanka Telecom does not make him necessarily notable. See the requirements of notability above.Dan arndt (talk) 23:43, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
It is important to note that Wikipedia is not LinkedIn, essentially being a competent professional in a field is not grounds for having a wikipedia article. At this stage I see nothing that makes Kumarasinghe Sirisena notable. Dan arndt (talk) 07:26, 22 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hey[edit]

Please understand: the fact that an article about him now exists, does not mean you can just paste in all that content from his LinkedIn page. DS (talk) 19:08, 25 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. An infobox, sure. DS (talk) 13:15, 26 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
