Noahide Laws[edit]

Hi! Do you do any translating? The above article generates allot of google traffic and I was hoping it could be translated into Thai, at least a stub. Please let me know... Thanks! Chavatshimshon 04:59, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom[edit]

Hi, I saw your vote against Jpgordon at Wikipedia:Arbitration_Committee_Elections_December_2006/Vote/Jpgordon. Not writing enough edit summaries sounds like a frivolous reason to oppose someone running for the Arbitration Committee. Could you reconsider? --Duke of Duchess Street 19:08, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Collab[edit]

Sorry - i forgot. I will make the Revolution the collab now. Give me 30mins! thanks --Merbabu 10:23, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

UPDATE: Before i put the collab notice there, i wanted to move the page as per your request (and apparent consensus). But, i can't do it. I get a message saying the page already exists. Do you know how? i have asked a couple of others, but i don't think it is there priority. hope you can help. --Merbabu 10:57, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You forgot to sign at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Jersey Devil 2. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 13:24, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I know to use the template, but since it was an oppose on on RfA, I thought your own sig would be better :-) Regards, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 14:46, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:The power cover.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:The power cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 02:50, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Surabaya1.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Surabaya1.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 03:10, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Link [to "email this user"][edit]

I saw that you requested replies to your user page, but no one had followed your instructions. I have copied the thread below. Cheers! --Thomprod (talk) 20:19, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Where exactly is the "email this user" link? I couldnt see any. Any screenshot? (if possible please reply in my talk page--Nielswik(talk) 16:00, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Look in the "toolbox" section under the search bar on the left. If the user is email enabled, there will be a link entitled "E-mail this user". It took me a little while to find it, too. -- Satori Son 19:56, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The link does not appear on any user pages that I have checked today, including my own. Is the feature disabled? --Thomprod (talk) 16:17, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You don't appear to have confirmed your own e-mail address. You must confirm your e-mail address before you can e-mail others. Cheers. --MZMcBride (talk) 17:34, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
MZMcBride: My address had been confirmed previously in 2006, but had somehow come "undone". I have re-confirmed it and the "e-mail this user" link is now visible. Thanks. --Thomprod (talk) 20:17, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have conducted a reassessment of the above article as part of the GA Sweeps process. I have found some concerns which you can see at Talk:Indonesian National Revolution/GA1. I have placed the article on hold whilst these are fixed. Thanks. Jezhotwells (talk) 18:40, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:The power cover.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:The power cover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on 1 Muharram requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
