Disambiguation link notification for April 10[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kandyan Naval Raid (1612-13), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Dutch and Mannar (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:36, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

Ikkyu[edit]

Nice to see the Ikkyu-quote at your page too. Greetings, Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 18:34, 1 July 2013 (UTC)

Yeah.... Thanks. Actually I think I got it from you. I saw it in your page while I'm going through some Buddhism related articles. For some reason I felt that its related to our work in Wikipedia. (I can't describe it, just a feeling that I get) So I copied it into my page but I lost the track of the user page that I copied it from. So Thanks and at the same time sorry because I never got to thank you then.

Hi[edit]

Hi Nishadhi. This new discussion on Tamilakam makes very clear what is not nice about Wikipedia: those repeated discussions. I've tried to answer your concerns (which are not "repeated discussions"). Best regards, Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 06:42, 28 September 2013 (UTC)

Opting in to VisualEditor[edit]

As you may know, VisualEditor ("Edit beta") is currently available on the English Wikipedia only for registered editors who choose to enable it. Since you have made 100 or more edits with VisualEditor this year, I want to make sure that you know that you can enable VisualEditor (if you haven't already done so) by going to your preferences and choosing the item, "Enable VisualEditor. It will be available in the following namespaces: $1". This will give you the option of using VisualEditor on articles and userpages when you want to, and give you the opportunity to spot changes in the interface and suggest improvements. We value your feedback, whether positive or negative, about using VisualEditor, at Wikipedia:VisualEditor/Feedback. Thank you, Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 18:27, 11 October 2013 (UTC)

Appreciation[edit]

@Joshua Jonathan: Thank you very much dear friend and I've decided to take a break.

I started editing wikipedia as a way of relieving stress, but gradually its becoming the source of stress. I have decided to take a little break, a week or two perhaps, just to get my enthusiasm back. Eventually everything will turn out right. Once again thanks. Hello[edit]

I've seen that the to-do link in the main page is broken. And the active users in 90 hours: How do they select it? Im almost active the whole day . Not wanting my name there but to know how to. :) --Andrew EugeneDiscuss 07:17, 22 January 2014 (UTC)

Hi, Andrew.. actually the to do list yet to be shifted to the relevant link that's why its appear red. With regard to the active users list, I think it shows active users during last 90 days and apparently it gets updated monthly. So most probably your name will appear in March list.
I saw your sandbox article and it looks impressive. I suggest you to read WP:FIRST before submitting it to publish. Don't get disheartened by the mistakes that you make. We all went through that phase but the most important thing is correcting yourself. Let me know If you need any help. Thanks. Nishadhi (talk) 11:23, 23 January 2014 (UTC)

Oh that's a long time to update. So if someone becomes inactive he/she is shown active for 90 days more. :D Actually that was my third article in progress and thanks to you I never met the article "how to create my one". Due to lack of inexperience in wiki those loopholes occur. But still I'm glad that being 18 I contribute. Thank you for your support and i need the great back-up you give. BTW those history articles like Siege of Galle (1640) are nulli secundus! Are you a history lecturer/teacher? Andrew EugeneDiscuss 11:42, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
