CFB Gander[edit]

What you say about asphalt concrete and asphalt may well be true. However, what the article should use is what the source says. In the case of CFB Gander and Gander International the source, Canada Flight Supplement, says asphalt. For CFB Goose Bay the same source says "Concrete with asphalt overlay" which is not quite the same as asphalt concrete. On the other hand for Halifax Stanfield International Airport has one runway which the source says is asphalt/concrete and the other is asphalt. Enter CBW, waits for audience applause, not a sausage. 03:45, 15 September 2010 (UTC)

Project Mercury Insignia[edit]

Dear Palaeozoic99:

I appreciate your edits to replace the insignia of the manned Mercury flights, but unfortunately these are not "official" by any means, despite the fact that they are used by a NASA website. These designs were created by AB Emblem Co. about 1970 so the company could have a set of patches to sell commercially - and this was because the Mercury missions did not have contemporaneous patches. These designs, therefore, have no historical or official connection to the flights. The previous images in these articles, based on the capsule art, are historically accurate; so I have reverted these changes.

Thank you, and please let me know if you have any concerns.

Sincerely,

RadioBroadcast (talk) 04:16, 11 January 2013 (UTC)

Use of SPECTRE Logo.[edit]

Hello,

My name is Richard Wheeler and I am messaging you from South Africa regarding the use of your SPECTRE logo for commercial purposes. I have an online stall called G.L.O.W. Merchandise which deals with clothing, footwear, party accessories and music. Here is the link for proof: http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/GLOW-Merchandise/444017435625287. I have a customer who would like me to make inlays for his respirator inserts of his party gas mask. He will be paying me for this but, I need your permission to use the logo.

Please contact me at: general.language@gmail.com

Look forward forward to hearing from you.

Regards, Richard Wheeler. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CyberGothRichii (talkcontribs) 10:24, 23 April 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Katia and Maurice Krafft may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s and 1 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Disambiguation link notification for September 23[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Cyrus West Field, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Great Eastern. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

United States[edit]

Hi, Palaeozoic99! On a couple of pages (William Goffe and John Dixwell) you changed "America" to "United States". But in these instances, at least, "America" is right, and "United States" is wrong. They relate to a time period before the United States was formed or existed. - Nunh-huh 02:01, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
