Edited reverted on Race card[edit]

Hi there. I saw this edit of yours to the article race card, which I have reverted:[1] The reason for this is that Wikipedia is not censored. Wikipedia contains offensive language (where appropriate), and does not try to hide or disguise it. I recommend you read the guideline Wikipedia:Offensive material, which states: 'In original Wikipedia content, a vulgarity or obscenity should either appear in its full form or not at all; words should never be bowdlerized by replacing letters with dashes, asterisks, or other symbols.' It might be that this use of the 'n-word' doesn't need to be mentioned in the article, but if it is mentioned, it should be spelled out. (It also makes it clearer what the sentence is saying.)

I hope that helps; let me know if you have any further questions. And as for the note at the top of your talk page, my favourite palindrome is "A man, a plan, a canal, Panama!". Happy editing. Robofish (talk) 20:45, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there, Robofish....I never censored the article! I looked at the revision history and for some reason....the n-word was placed with symbols. I didn't do that. The only change I made myself was using the word "strategic".....umm...WTF?

Anyway, thanks for making the correction. Again, i have no idea why the symbols came up. And I'm aware of the censorship rules...thanks for keeping WP sound. PalindromeKitty (talk) 15:43, 11 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
