Joseph ben Mordechai Gershon[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Thanks for expressing your concern over this article but the text is taken from the 1906 Jewish Encylopedia which is a public domain work and can therefore be freely copied. http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com does the same and has reproduced the material verbatim. As they both quote from a PD work neither is a copyright violation. Nthep (talk) 14:55, 5 January 2014 (UTC)

Free Culture Consulting[edit]

Regarding this addition, I couldn't find that term in the ref. Has the source changed since you used it? John Vandenberg (chat) 01:31, 21 January 2014 (UTC)

John Vandenberg, does the reference I added to the article help support the use of the word "former" regarding Sarah Stierch's former employee status at WMF in Sarah Stierch? If not, or if she is not a "former" employee of WMF, please feel free to remove the word. Or I will remove it if you'd prefer. Parabolooidal (talk) 13:11, 21 January 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for February 17[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Udaipur, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page City Palace (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

thumb parameter[edit]

Hi, Parabolooidal. In this edit, you added |thumb=y, but I see no such parameter in {{image label}}. Does it do anything? Kanguole 17:23, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

Hi Kanguole. I think you're right and my putting |thumb=y in didn't do anything. Please revert if you don't want it there. I thought I was trying to make the images into thumbs, but now I look back at older versions and see they were already thumbs. So my edit you asked about above did exactly nothing at best! Thanks for the {{image label}}. Maybe that will help me get a grasp on those parameters.
I notice a link there to Labelled Image Editor. Do you use that or a similar tool? Parabolooidal (talk) 17:44, 18 February 2014 (UTC)
Thanks, I'll revert. No, I placed them manually. Kanguole 17:57, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

Steph Davis[edit]

Thanks for helping out on the Steph Davis article! Are you planning on helping out with the research? I could really use some help there! I just started today and as you can see, I'm rapidly changing the article. Let me know! I haven't gotten around to searching for images, but that's on the list, too! I would really appreciate it if you would help build this article by finding more sources - we need lots more of them! Thanks! Wadewitz (talk) 23:24, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
