Hennops' Bridges[edit]

Good morning, Park3r. I noted that in this edit, you removed information which was supported by a citation. Could you explain this? Is this a river with which you are personally familiar and therefore you personally know that this is innaccurate? If so, then your knowledge is extremely valuable; nonetheless, your personal knowledge cannot be used to support any statement, because of Wikipedia's ban on "original research". But if you do know that this information is wrong, please try to find another source to support your claim. Thanks, Unschool 05:53, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Help needed[edit]

I have noticed that you have done participated in the Zardari page. Could you please join the discussion at FA nomination for Zardari? I may be leaving the country for a month in 3 days and do not want the nomination to fail if I am gone. Any help would be appreciated. Reformation32 (talk) 21:18, 29 July 2011 (UTC)

Call for Wikipedians in Residence in Africa[edit]

Hello,

I hope you are well and thriving!! WikiAfrica has just put out a call for two Wikipedians in Residence. One in Cape Town at WikiAfrica, at the Africa Centre; and the other for WikiAfrica Cameroon in Douala, at doual’art. If you are interested, please contact either Marilyn [marilyn.doualabell@doualart.org] for the WikiAfrica Cameroon call or Isla [islahf@africacentre.net] for the WikiAfrica position in Cape Town.

If you are not interested in applying, I would be very grateful if you could spread this call far and wide among your networks to ensure that both projects get excellent candidates. Here is the link for the information page: http://www.wikiafrica.net/two-wikipedians-in-residence-for-africa/

Speedy deletion nomination of Kachumber[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kachumber requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from {{{value1}}}. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Renaming "X road" to "X route" for SA numbered routes[edit]

Hey, I notice that a while ago you moved R24 road (South Africa) to R24 route (South Africa). Do you think we should do this for all the numbered route articles? On the one hand, it's true that they are routes rather than specific roads (and referred to as such). But on the other hand, the "X road (Country)" naming scheme seems to be pretty standard for articles about numbered routes all over the world. - htonl (talk) 09:44, 27 January 2014 (UTC)

I think they should all be moved to "route", with the exception of the few routes that are actually a single road, where I have no opinion either way. Park3r (talk) 15:02, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
