June 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Married... with Children has been reverted.
Your edit here to Married... with Children was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.hulu.com/marriedwith-children) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Disambiguation link notification for August 19[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Jennifer Saunders, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Upstairs Downstairs (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Disambiguation link notification for August 31[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2010s in fashion, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Throwback (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Barack Obama presidential campaign, 2012[edit]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Obama2012logo.jpg)[edit]

Ambox warning blue.svg Thanks for uploading File:Obama2012logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Melissa Reeves[edit]

Do not add slanderous content to articles on Wikipedia, as you did to Melissa Reeves. Your edit has been reverted. If you continue to add such content, I will file a report. Thank you.--BeckiGreen (talk) 23:10, 24 November 2012 (UTC)

I didn't add slanderous content; sourced content that may be unflattering to Miss Reeves is not slanderous. I advise you to cease and desist in threatening members when you're obviously unaccustomed to the very definition of 'slander.' Thank you. Partyclams (talk) 05:30, 1 December 2012 (UTC)

Kristen Blake DiMera[edit]

Recently, you inquired about the status of Kristen and John's relationship. John married Susan disguised as Kristen twice. He never actually married Kristen. The storyline has not been retconned. Hope this helps :) Rm994 (talk) 02:27, 16 December 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for this!! Partyclams (talk) 22:38, 19 December 2012 (UTC)

As creator of this page, I have a format that I would like to have followed by all fellow contributors. Family is listed by order of importance ie: Parents, then children, then grandchildren. Biological children are given precedence over adopted children. That is why Kristen is listed after Chad in the DiMera Family section. Further within each character, current occupation, current and former marriages, and then familial relations are listed only. Plot points are not to be added within the character profiles unless a relation is unclear ie: Bo's relation to Victor, Daniel's relation to Maggie. It is also unnecessary to list a character's nemesis as many characters have a rather long list of enemies. Also for some clarification, Kristen was never married to John. Her lookalike Susan Banks was married to John. Please be sure to adhere to proper grammar and spelling when contributing to the page as well. Thanks. Kate signed divorce papers, right? I wonder if the show will give us an official finalized divorce announcement. Partyclams (talk) 22:38, 19 December 2012 (UTC)

List of Tracey Takes On... episodes[edit]

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of List of Tracey Takes On... episodes, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: List of Tracey Takes On episodes. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 14:01, 24 February 2013 (UTC)

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did to Alison Moyet, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Keri (talk) 15:34, 3 May 2013 (UTC)

Please do not delete/blank sections. You could have easily reworded the section using the information that was sourced. Partyclams (talk) 22:58, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
No, I couldn't, because the linked reference contained nothing of use. In future, do not reinsert unreferenced information to BLPs. As for "deleting/blanking" sections, policy is crystal clear on this: material about living people must be written neutrally to a high standard, and based on high-quality reliable sources - the burden of proof is on those who wish to retain, restore, or undelete the disputed material. Keri (talk) 01:43, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
Wikipedia:BLP deletion process. I also don't see Administrator credentials on your page. Perhaps you should do your research first to gain those credentials, and if you are an Administrator, it's best to keep your knowledge up-to-date in order to keep those credentials. Good luck. Partyclams (talk) 14:58, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
That process only applies to the speedy deletion of articles, and also has a very clear message at the top reading "This page is currently inactive and is retained for historical reference. Either the page is no longer relevant or consensus on its purpose has become unclear." I suggest you keep your snide, misinformed remarks to yourself and read more carefully before shooting your mouth off. Keri (talk) 15:10, 4 May 2013 (UTC)

STOP[edit]

Your edit violates WP:CRYSTALBALL and WP:YEAR. Do you not understand that? You cannot cap things off, especially with 2012–2013, it's wrong. And About.com is not reliable for such things as you're using it for. And Chandler, according to the source I added, is out in November, not December. Stop making things up or I'll report you. livelikemusic my talk page! 22:23, 7 November 2013 (UTC)

Yes, it is a reliable source. Enough reverting, or I will be forced to report you. Partyclams (talk) 22:24, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
No it isn't. And you stop reverting. Your edits are defying wiki policies and what sources state. You're in the wrong right now. livelikemusic my talk page! 22:25, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
No, it isn't. I think you need to step away from Wikipedia for a bit, and even brush up on uploading images. You seem to think that you own Wikipedia pages. You do not. I also don't see moderator credentials. Sorry, but I will not be bullied by you. Partyclams (talk) 22:28, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
No, I do not need to "step away" at all, nor brush up on uploading images. Not at all. The source I added per Chandler's exit, per SOD, states November 2013, not December. And I'm not the one going against concensus and Wiki policies. livelikemusic my talk page! 22:30, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
And how am I bullying you by uploading consensus and policies? livelikemusic my talk page! 22:30, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
You're not. You are claiming ownership, and warning to 'sic the dogs on me.' Start contributing. Partyclams (talk) 22:34, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
I have been contributing for years. Your edits are defying Wiki policies. And how am I claiming ownership? I've never claimed anything was "mine". livelikemusic my talk page! 22:36, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
SOD gets dates wrong all the time. Michael Fairman, states December to Ken Corday in his interview with Ken Corday. Also, Freddie Smith confirmed December. Partyclams (talk) 22:33, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
Michael Fairman gets things wrong all the time, too. And SOD trumps Michael, especially since Michael I've noticed has a lot of errors within his reporting. And unless Freddie talked to a creditable source, you cannot use his words. livelikemusic my talk page! 22:34, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
It's an interview with Ken Corday, the man himself.... Enough already. Furthermore, the show tapes four months ahead of schedule, therefore, Chandler's last date will end in December. Your "issue" with About.com, a hugely reliable source, a source we've used on Wikipedia for years, not to mention its hookup with Days web sites, is absolutely ridiculous. Partyclams (talk) 22:39, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
And Michael's interview was prior to Chandler's immediate leave. When the interview was conducted, Chandler was leaving within his original time and was not being recast. But it was later reported, post-interview, that he would be exiting effective immediately. And since then, it's been reported he's now exiting in November, instead of the originally planned December. livelikemusic my talk page! 22:40, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
Here, December: http://soapcentral.com/days/news/2013/0823-massey.php How many rounds are we going to go here? Partyclams (talk) 22:46, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
I'll settle the Chandler debate, but I still believe, per WP:RELIABLE that November to be right from SOD's assessment made just last week in their latest published magazine. SC hasn't been highly credited except for the past year's time when editors re-looked over, but it's always been stated if a source, more highly creditable says otherwise, it's what should be used. livelikemusic my talk page! 22:50, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
I have the SOD issue right in front of me, it states: "Will leaves town this week to attend a writing program in Berkeley." That's "this week." Massey had asked for an extra week off. The cast tapes three weeks a month. He asked for an additional week to spend with his family. He will be returning. The web site, Daytime Royalty also discussed this. Guy Wilson actually takes over the role in mid-January, but no date has been confirmed. Apparently, they're not going to give the character a break and then bring in the new actor. What just happened with the character, that DOES feel like an exit, but believe it or not, it's not the official one for Massey. Since the show shoots four months in advance, I wonder if this was their original way of writing the character act. They weren't originally going to do a recast. SOD also two weeks ago revealed that Nathan Owens and Camila Banus' characters were going to become a couple. Owens and Banus then decided that they were leaving, and the idea was scrapped. They were planting the seeds for them to get together if you've been watching the show. SOD stated that since the show tapes four months in advance, and her contract's up in December, she'll still appear until April. We know Massey's last tape date. Four months = December. SOD should have written it better. They still haven't lived down getting their "Drake Hogestyn is returning" nonsense from a few months ago. They have a reputation now for getting info wrong as of late Partyclams (talk) 22:58, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
Then you need to source that, Party. And Daytime Royalty is a fan-dictated site, and that defies WP:RELIABLE. You're running too much on fan stuff if you're going by that website for "news". The source I did provide, from the "Comings and Goings" from the Nov. 4, 2013 issues states that both Massey and Davis (Cameron) will exit sometime in the month of November. And yes, SOD has gotten some things wrong in the past, but they run off of what they hear, and sometimes, things can change for an actor and series. Doesn't make them any less creditable. They're still the most creditable source for soap related things. livelikemusic my talk page! 23:02, 7 November 2013 (UTC)

The Minutes (album) Good Article nomination!![edit]

Hi! I was wondering if you'd be interested in seeing Alison's the minutes being nominated as a Good Article. In April 2013 I got Bonnie Tyler's Rocks and Honey listed as a Good Article as it fit all the criteria and I don't think that Moyet's album is far off from it either. It's up to you, as I can't nominate it since I've not been a significant contributor to the page. Thanks, and a Happy New Year to you, Liam. Bonnietylersave (talk) 18:32, 31 December 2013 (UTC)

Cool! What exactly do I have to do? Partyclams (talk) 06:46, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
Well firstly I suggest you read over the criteria on Wikipedia:Good article criteria, and then compare The Minutes to other Good Article albums on here: Wikipedia:Good articles/Music. When you think you're happy to nominate it you need to add the nomination template to the top of the talk page. If you need help with that just ask me! I adore the album and think the album is in pretty good shape. Only thing I think could be added is a few present day photos that are in the public domain. For Rocks and Honey I emailed some professional photographers who attended Bonnie Tyler's concerts throughout 2013 and asked them if they would be happy to donate them to the Wikimedia projects and they were more than happy to! I'm happy to help on that front. Bonnietylersave (talk) 19:15, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
Ooh one thing I have just noticed is that some references will need replacing. I got a good telling off for using Facebook links in references, but other than that they all look pretty good. Bonnietylersave (talk) 19:24,2 January 2013 (UTC)

Faulty disambiguation of Guy Wilson[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Guy Wilson a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut-and-paste-move repair holding pen. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 18:23, 26 January 2014 (UTC)

Hi, I created a new page for the actor Guy Wilson (actor), leaving the original entry in place for the English cricketer Guy Wilson. I just wanted to add that the actor IS well-established and stars in a daytime soap now, which was and is an extremely big deal in the media. He is covered extensively by the US press. More has to be added to his page. I just laid the foundation for users. Partyclams (talk) 03:10, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for your explanation. I guess it's a case of deciding whether there is a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, and now that WP seems to have several articles that could fit the Guy Wilson name, I will assume Guy Wilson is better as a disambiguation page and attempt a proper move of the cricketer's article (WP:MOVE has more detail on how to move a page without too much drama). Dl2000 (talk) 00:19, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

There's no dispute that Guy Wilson (actor) is notable; just that outside the US the cricketer might be considered equally notable. However, I noticed some other articles that could fit Guy Wilson, so will assume there is no WP:PRIMARYTOPC and create a general disambiguation page, and do a proper move of the cricketer's article (WP:MOVE has info on that, for future reference). Thanks for your interest Dl2000 (talk) 00:19, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

The contents of Guy Wilson have been properly moved to Guy Wilson (cricketer), preserving edit history. Guy Wilson is now free to be converted into a disambiguation page. Don't forget to adjust any incoming links :) Cheers, Waldir talk 01:25, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Gary Oldman shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Gaijin42 (talk) 02:18, 27 June 2014 (UTC)

Eileen Davidson[edit]

Hello, like you I have been working on Eileen Davidson's page therefore first off, I want to thank you for your work and I really appreciated. However, I am just wondering why in Days of Our Lives why is there a capital ″O″ in ″Our″? I disagree about this format because in the theme title this format is not present neither when at the Daytime Emmys during the slide of each DOOL nominees. However, I am willing to hear your reasons so that we can come in agreement with each other. Please do not take any offence into this I just want the best for this article. Thank you and have a nice day.  — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 19:53, 28 June 2014 (UTC)

The main Days page title was changed with a capital 'O' for 'our' a few months ago. We've been updating actor and character pages accordingly. I actually protested the change, but it was out of my hands. Technically, it should be Days of Our Lives. That's proper English. TV grids also refer to it that way. Due to it sometimes being referred to as Days of our Lives, this would be appropriate to include on the main page: Days of Our Lives (sometimes stylized Days of our Lives). Partyclams (talk) 20:47, 28 June 2014 (UTC)
Thank you for the fast response. You said ″The main Days page title was changed with a capital 'O' for 'our' a few months ago″, do you have any proof like a Youtube video etc..? Because, I can not take your words for it. Also to be honest, it does not matter if it is proper English or not because it is a soap opera and the creators of the series have stylized as Days of our Lives. Also, for ED page I think we should leave it because the sources/references refer it as a lowercase 'o' for 'our' and at the 2014 Daytime Emmys during the slide of each DOOL nominees they don't refer it as a capital 'O'. Here is my proof: [1]. Thank you.  — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 21:22, 28 June 2014 (UTC)
Regardless of how we feel, it's Wiki policy. Wiki is strict when it comes to grammar, dates, sources, etc. We need Eileen's page (along with all the others) to correspond with Wiki rules and to keep it in line with the page it refers back to, which has a capital 'O'. Wiki mods will go through every page and manually change what they feel are typos. They even have bots that will do it for them. It's really not something to get into an argument about - with them. Trust me! I've already crossed them before with issues such as the one you're referring. Partyclams (talk) 21:31, 28 June 2014 (UTC)
Okay, then. You can go ahead and fix it because I ain't gonna do it. However, thank you for the fast responses and your time.  — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 21:49, 28 June 2014 (UTC)
