You are now a Reviewer[edit]

Redaktor Wikipedia 600px.png

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Karanacs (talk) 04:07, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

Autopatrolled[edit]

Wikipedia Autopatrolled.svg

Hello, this is just to let you know that I have granted you the "autopatrolled" permission. This won't affect your editing, it just automatically marks any page you create as patrolled, benefiting new page patrollers. Please remember:

  • This permission does not give you any special status or authority
  • Submission of inappropriate material may lead to its removal
  • You may wish to display the {{Autopatrolled}} top icon and/or the {{User wikipedia/autopatrolled}} userbox on your user page
  • If, for any reason, you decide you do not want the permission, let me know and I can remove it
If you have any questions about the permission, don't hesitate to ask. Otherwise, happy editing!HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 21:41, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

You have recently hinted in an edit summary that Maragm is a sock puppet. Accusations of serious policy violations should not be leveled lightly. File permission problem with File:Porto view ippar.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Porto view ippar.jpg, which you've sourced to From the Portuguese governmental institute IPPAR. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 22:28, 1 February 2013 (UTC)

Aguardo resposta, atentamente - --AL (talk) 15:18, 25 February 2013 (UTC)

  • OK, então podes arranjar uma referência que diz que ele (eles) nasceram na Póvoa? Até pode ser em português, não faz mal. Obrigado --AL (talk) 18:39, 25 February 2013 (UTC)

Ponte de Lima[edit]

Oi Pedro. As a long time editor, I am a little surprised on how you handled the "redirect" of Ponte de Lima Municipality. Just placing a redirect is not the way things are done. I am not saying that your intention to redirect the municipality article to the root is incorrect, but the way you did it (copy/paste and redirect) was wrong, and has now created problems with the talk pages. It would be better if you reverted the redirect, and submit a formal request at Wikipedia:Requested_moves. The request is a move over redirect, and therefore falls into this method. Personally, I will not contest the move, and have been debating (but not moving the articles) the logic of maintaining three-levels of Portuguese geography articles (municipality, parish and city/town). Namely, integrating the municipality and city articles into the original names, and maintaining the distinction in the article between the urban settlements and the regional politico-administrative entities. ruben jc ZEORYMER (talk) 09:26, 18 March 2013 (UTC)

As much as "being bold" is honourable thing. Skirting due process is not. I have found that a request to move on undisputed pages are rapid: this is the situation in your case. I do not dispute the fact that Ponte de Lima Municipality should be moved to "Ponta de Lima", just how you went about doing it was wrong. "Being bold" is about content, not flowting rules. Since it was not possible to move over a redirect, you should have forwarded to the above page. Its simple. In order to resolve this, it will be necessary to revert your edit, and request a formal move, that will erase the old articlespace, and allow the transfer to Ponte de Lima Municipality to Ponte de Lima. In good faith, I request that you revert your edits (copy/paste and redirect), so that I (or you may wish to do this yourself) can make a formal request to move the article over redirect. ruben jc ZEORYMER (talk) 12:09, 18 March 2013 (UTC)

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you.--Bbb23 (talk) 23:09, 20 April 2013 (UTC)

ANEW[edit]

I've closed the report at WP:ANEW filed against you by locking County of Portugal. The only reason you weren't blocked was because the editor who reported you was also edit warring. However, on top of the edit warring, your conduct was inappropriate. Calling two editors vandals repeatedly, filing a report at WP:AIV, which I closed, and accusing editors of having a nationalistic agenda were personal attacks. Consider this a formal warning that if you continue to engage in such behavior, you risk being blocked. I strongly urge you to continue your discussion on the article talk page focusing only on content and not on other editors. Also, do not toss around the label vandalism so loosely, in your edit summaries, your comments, and in warning templates on other editors' talk pages.--Bbb23 (talk) 23:28, 20 April 2013 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Africa portuguese creoles.png[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Africa portuguese creoles.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 17:57, 19 June 2014 (UTC)

Hi, in case you have the time, I'm making a general request hoping that someone can tidy my machine code translation of the Population Matters' article mentioned. (Ultimately I hope to move the article to "População é importante" or whatever might be the best translation of "Population (as a subject) is important"). The article is currently up for deletion so I'm contacting a few potential translators. Please check: W:pt:Population_Matters&action=history to avoid wasting time. If the article is deleted I would still appreciate its development at w:pt:Usuário(a):Gregkaye/Testes. Any help with any population related article would also be appreciated. Caro Pedro, eu convidava-lhe a ter uma conversa civilizada na respetiva página de discussão. Agradecimentos. Ten Islands (talk) 14:38, 26 December 2014 (UTC)

Edit warring[edit]

I know it might be hard, but please do not edit Portuguese-based creole languages until the dispute between you and TenIslands has been resolved. It might be tempting to assume that TenIslands will not be sufficiently motivated to contribute to the discussion if his preferred version is not live, but this is a form of bad-faith editing. Please be patient and assume good faith. Edits that you disagree with are not vandalism. I also ask that you stick to English in your talk page posts so that others in the community can easily contribute. — Ƶ§œš¹ [lɛts b̥iː pʰəˈlaɪˀt] 19:41, 26 December 2014 (UTC)
