RE:Template:Welsh Premier League seasons[edit]

Sorry if you were wondering what was going on. I had problems with the templates and had to rename one as two templates were just duplicating themselves. I have ameded this now and there is now two season sections. One is League of Wales and the other is Welsh Premier League. Onshore

Although the league changed in 2002? Also I didn't try to delete the League of Wales seasons as it was in use until 2002. I had to change League of Wales seasons to League of Wales seasons (1992-2002) because it was duplicating the information with Welsh Premier League seasons Onshore

Okay fair point. Well it's now says "League of Wales / Welsh Premier League" hope you have no objections to this? and we'll leave it at that Onshore

So what is going to happen when the Welsh Premier League is split into two divisions in a few seasons from now? Onshore P.S. I'll leave the navbox as it is because at this rate it would have just blown out as a fude or something

Also Thank You for sorting out the caregories, it was taking me ages trying to change it to League of Wales :-) Onshore

so why can't the badge be used...when in the club season football infobox there is a section labelled "logo =" and the description being "{{{logo}}} — The club logo."?

FC Shortcuts[edit]

Just a quick tip for you. The next time you wish to link a football club all you need to do is type {{fc|Team Name}} rather than the full name. I did that on the Derby County record. NoseNuggets (talk) 1:46 PM US EDT May 14 2008

Fabio[edit]

I've been writing articles for 5 years on Wiki and that's not how I interpret the spirit of wiki - you will find lots of reserve team players on here so how do you justify this decision? Theo Walcott was a prime example and I could point out lots of examples

David Healy[edit]

What is wrong with the David Healy page of his international carrer if you merge it with the main page it makes the list longer.

last comment[edit]

'You should also realise that they didn't use the same formation in every match'. What am I supposed to know. my opinion is that scolari always used a 5-3-2 formation with Brazil and yet you criticize me for not knowing. I take it you are another one of the upper class snobs in wikipedia who claim to be right about everything.

formation for Brazil.[edit]

have a look at formation (association football) on wikipedia and have a look at 3-5-2 and you will see Brazil 2002 World Cup winner played it all the way throughout the tournament. Ronaldinho played as a central midfielder and Rivaldo played as a striker alongside Ronaldo and Cafu and Roberto Carlos played as wingers.

yep I was right about you. you are an arrogant upper class snob who claims to know everything like everyone on wikipedia. just because people get things wrong you like to put people down by showing off your arrogance.

enforcing policy!!!! why are u involved with people who want to make people be wrong all the time and writing u should do this and that and effectively saying ha you're wrong and I'm right and I am the best because I am a computer master with wikipedia who has got A's and B's in computer science or whatever and there is nothing u can do about it. why mate? why be involved with nasty people like that.

alplogy accepted. at least there is some decent human beings around.

Rodrigo Possebon nationality[edit]

Hey PeeJay2K3, I got a question and a subject that I think should be changed. Why is Rodrigo Possebon nationality is presented as Italy and not Brazil? even tho he did play for the Italian national team he played in the under-20 team, which by FIFA does not mean he can not play or present in the senior team the country of birth which is Brazil.

Bithplace of Park JiSung[edit]

Back in April, you just couldn't resist changing the birthplace back to Seoul could you. Fuck me are you such a stupid and ignorant racist you just can't stomach the fact that the Koreans actually know where their own captain is born!!!!!

I am sorry to be so rude but I see you added an opinion piece from the London Times' as that some how justifies that Europeans know better than the Korea's Yonhap News agency, Korean Times and equivalent FT.

You are one thick fuck. For the final time I will explain and try and get it into your racist little imperialist head (see you were you born on the right side of Orchard Road). He was not born in Seoul he was born in Goheung county. As the Korean sources plainly show. He might have even had his birth certificate registered in Seoul too but he was not born there. Many in S.Korea including my own wife is registered as Seoul even though they were born elsewhere. OK. It's the culture to be associated with the capital. Nearly everywhere else is seen as bumpkin.

But no, you had to change it again based on whiteman's sources, like they don't copy the lie that you keep holding on to huh?? Fucking faggot, just want your own way?? I wonder how many other times people will copy you lies thus keeping the lies going in an ever growing circle. Maybe you might understand how important it is to get things right when your IQ gets to three figures

The article Richmond Road ground has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. European Cup and Champions League Seasons[edit]

Does it. Makes the final looks the same as the all the other games leading up to it, and looks like another match played in that season. There is nothing wrong with duplicating the match details showing the players who played in the final.

Super Bowl XLVIII[edit]

Why is it overkill to put in more pertinent stats of the game? This should be a web encyclopedia where more information is beneficial and essential. Please respond. Thanks.

mkbngr

What I added for stats are usually included in official accounts of NFL games and especially the Super Bowl. Things such as punt returns, kickoff returns. Most fans looking for a stats page expect things like that; I think they would also want it here. To me, that is what I would consider as pertinent. I hope enough users of this would be in favor of that.

Your Opinion[edit]

Hi, do you think it is worth me asking an administrator about possibly Semi-Protecting the 2014–15 Manchester United F.C. season page as multiple IP adresses keep changing Rio Ferdinand's To status to QPR. Lukejordan02 (talk) 18:02, 18 July 2014 (UTC)

Patrice Evra[edit]

I made changes to Evra to include his 3 runner-up appearances in the Champions League. I had done this because Cristiano Ronaldo has them listed in his Honours, and I feel that Evra, with 4 total appearances, including one with Monaco, should be merited. I thought I was logged in, but was not. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Enjoycoca (talkcontribs) 07:59, 24 July 2014 (UTC)

2014-2015 season[edit]

Don't the friendly match statistics normally go in brackets? Lukejordan02 (talk) 17:53, 24 July 2014 (UTC)

Thank you for the reply and please don't assume I was telling as I wasn't because I didn't know I was asking. Lukejordan02 (talk) 17:56, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
Thanks, I hope you don't think I am trying to be a nuisance as I am not, I am trying to help. After staying up last night to watch the game on MUFC TV (I have been yawning all day) It was worth it great match and Herrera played great, I added the match scores and details on the 2014-2015 page. Could you just check it and make sure I have added right, thanks again. Lukejordan02 (talk) 18:02, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
So are the edits OK, I just followed how they were on the previous season but felt a bit paranoid I had made a mistake mainly due to the large goalscore. It's not everyday your team wins 7–0 :) Lukejordan02 (talk) 18:28, 24 July 2014 (UTC)

Soccer/Football Grammar[edit]

for obvious reasons, i'm not getting into an edit war on the wayne rooney thread over the word 'in' vs 'on'. But please educate me...I'd like to see an example of a time that anyone in the (print, radio, tv) media referred to someone's playing in the span of a couple of years and multiple tournaments as 'playing in the team' (not to be confused with 'playing on the team' 'playing for the team' 'playing in the organization' GLG GLG (talk) 09:06, 25 July 2014 (UTC)

July 2014[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to 2008 UEFA Champions League Final may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • 6 million in the five minutes from 22:30, during the penalty shoot-out. During the match (from 19:45 to 22:35, the number of viewers averaged at 11.1 million (46% of the total

Premier league[edit]

How come the previous season pages have them? Lukejordan02 (talk) 19:57, 25 July 2014 (UTC)

So does that mean that they can be added one by one as the matches are played? Lukejordan02 (talk) 20:00, 25 July 2014 (UTC)
Thank you for the reply and for the info I had no idea. What a stupid system looking at the link you posted in he edit summary.
  • Football DataCo charges a standard fee for the reproduction of fixture lists, which currently stands at: £266 plus VAT to print the fixtures of one English club.
  • Newspapers printing the fixtures of all clubs are be charged around £3,931 plus VAT by DataCo for a date ordered listing.
What a ripoff, surely the knowledge of fixtures should belong to the fans! Lukejordan02 (talk) 20:08, 25 July 2014 (UTC)
Sorry about changing the Kuszczak Fee, I was confused about the   directly after it, my main goal was to abbreviate million to just m. Lukejordan02 (talk) 20:13, 25 July 2014 (UTC)

India Cricket Tour to England in 2014[edit]

Hey PeeJay

I tried adding the records in the individual match but it has been constantly deleted. If you check out the other cricket tours currently underway similar records and statistics are being displayed. So please either delete those as well or let the one's on India's tour be there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ankurc.17 (talkcontribs) 10:03, 27 July 2014 (UTC)

Go to every current and previous cricket tours.

Like i said go to all the other tours from current and past. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ankurc.17 (talkcontribs) 11:08, 27 July 2014 (UTC)

2000 UEFA Cup Final line-up[edit]

'ello there Peejay! Could you do me a favour? The existing line-up created by Zotteteen1 is incorrect and I was wondering if you could correct it using Inkscape? I found a YouTube video of this match with the correct line-up. For instance, in the Galatasaray line-up (04:07), in the centre back positions, Popescu should come before Korkmaz. In the midfield positions, Buruk should be first, Davala second, Kaya third and last Hagi. In the Arsenal line-up (04:34), in the centre back positions, Keown should come before Adams, and in the forward sections, Bergkamp should come before Henry. Also note that Sylvinho should be spelled Silvinho, which his name was spellt as during his stint in Arsenal, and as for the Turkish names, use the surnames first. I have also taken a look at the 2004 UEFA Champions League Final line-up you created, can you make the Galatasaray kit as same as the one used in the football kit template, just as you made with the Monaco–Porto kits if you know what I'm referring to? If you could do these following things, I would appreciate it (I have attempted to do this myself using Inkscape, but I'm afraid I don't have the experience). Cheers! Arbero (talk) 15:13, 27 July 2014 (UTC)

Hmm, didn't know that. Thought it was indeed the Adidas Tricolore according to the Turkish Wikipedia. I must have confused both of them. However, I have not been able to find any references of the match ball (When I say references, I mean sources that is supposed to cover the 2000 UEFA Cup Final match ball, and not the Euro 2000 tournament). Arbero (talk) 18:37, 27 July 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for correcting the positions on the line-up, but why have you put Arsenal as the home team and Galatasaray as the away team? Isn't that a bit misleading, as it was Galatasaray–Arsenal and not Arsenal–Galatasaray, according to UEFA? Also, I was a bit disappointed to find out that you did not include the exact colours on the two clubs kits (You have made the Galatasaray upper kit white when the v-neck should be red and the shirt (including left and right arm) red and yellow, and the Arsenal upper kit yellow when the v-neck should be blue and the shirt (including left and right arm) yellow and blue). If you don't know what I mean, here is an old Monaco–Porto final line-up that I pointed out in my first comment:

AS Monaco vs Porto 2004-05-26.svg

I hope my demands aren't too high. Arbero (talk) 20:00, 27 July 2014 (UTC)

Ah, I understand. Does this only occur when a British (English, Scottish, Welsh, Northern Irish) team is involved? Arbero (talk) 20:36, 27 July 2014 (UTC)
If you look at the Monaco–Porto line-up above, you put the Monaco kits at the top and the Porto kits underneath. Both of them are foreign clubs. But with the Galatasaray–Arsenal line-up you did today, you put the Arsenal kits at the top and the Galatasaray kits underneath. Arbero (talk) 21:32, 27 July 2014 (UTC)
Hmm, I suppose you are right. Anyway, how do you create the kits in and then add colours/extra colours in Inkscape? So far, I have experimented with the programme on my Mac and only figured out that you can move each player's kit on an existing line-up using the option "SVG Font Editor". I would like to know this so I can start creating line-ups on my own in the future. Arbero (talk) 23:10, 27 July 2014 (UTC)

About the extra colours on the kits, do you still plan on adding them? Arbero (talk) 13:27, 29 July 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Glamorgan County Cricket Club in 2014, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Tom Smith (cricketer) and Ravi Patel. Same question again[edit]

Hi, I know I have asked about protecting the new United season page before and you said you don't think its worth it, well I am asking you if you still feel the same now as I think the annoyance of edits has gone up quite a bit. I am absolutely fucking sick to death of reverting edits who are either to dumb to read or are just plain ignorant and changing Ferdinand's transfer to QPR despite a message explaining not to and giving a reason why. And users changing the numbers for Herrera and Shaw. Lukejordan02 (talk) 12:33, 29 July 2014 (UTC)
