City coats of arms in country infoboxes[edit]

Hello, could you please consider not continuing to add city coats of arms to the "capital" entries of country infoboxes and other similar situations in boxes? I've been reverting some of your recent changes of this kind in several articles. Editorial consensus, as described in the guideline WP:MOSFLAGS, is that such icons are visually distracting, clutter up the box and serve no encyclopedic information purpose, since city symbols are almost always too little known to the international public to have any immediate recogniation value (and teaching the reader what that city's coat of arms is, is a matter for the city's article itself, not for some other article in which the city just happens to be referred to). Thanks, – Fut.Perf. 10:39, 9 October 2014 (UTC)
