Undoing Changes[edit]

Please consider that undoing changes may affect multiple articles. You undid a change in an article related to the ELO-System, but referred to a different Article in your reasoning. "I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Power-line flicker because it did not appear constructive." Also, when you see the same IP, it doesn't mean it's the same user. I'm at work and I've never touched "Power-line flicker". But that's my bad I guess.I Could use an account. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.35.17.17 (talk) 12:04, 30 January 2015 (UTC)

John Henry Patterson infobox[edit]

Please help me I can't add religion and spouse resting place place of birth etc. on John Henry patterson's Wikipedia age..

I wanted to add additional info as well... .

Hi Dont belittle245: Infoboxes are limited in what they will display; they only recognize certain key words on the left side of the ='s symbol. So at best they have a limited flexibility. I don't work with them all that much. There are a few different styles you might consider. What I usually do is to look in other articles and see what other editors have used. Or if you want a textbook writeup on them, see Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Infoboxes. I'll look around and see what I can find. You might also consider setting up a sandbox for your account, so you can work in it rather than in the article itself. Then you can copy over the finished product and your edits are not under the scrutiny of other editors so much. Regards, Pinethicket (talk) 12:58, 26 October 2014 (UTC)

I do apologise for this vandalism, you see I accidentally left my account logged on in my school ,and consequently it was hijacked and used for purposes other than what I had in mind. Draculashyguy (talk) 11:05, 15 December 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for the explanation. Regards, Pinethicket (talk) 11:31, 15 December 2014 (UTC)

I wanted to tell you that...[edit]

The quick work on my vandalism edit is very quick! I was testing the system over responses! Ta. 86.163.52.152 (talk) 15:52, 5 January 2015 (UTC)

Endangered species[edit]

Apologies for reverting one of your edits on Endangered species. It was wholly unintended and was intended to be a revert of vandalism on another article on my watch list. Having to edit on a tablet rather than a PC is much more error prone I am discovering!  Velella  Velella Talk   09:08, 6 January 2015 (UTC)

Chinky[edit]

Please stop undoing my changes. I am making changes to this wiki as this is one way biased. Most ethnic chinese people do find this term offensive regardless of age and background. I am adding perspective from an ethnic Chinese person. There are strong enough citations that the term is deemed offensive. The lack of perspective from both sides on this article will make wiki as the source of justifying racial bullying.

Please read this page. Wikipedia is not censored so there are likely to be section that could be considered offensive by individuals. If you find an area of the site to be offensive it is advised to consider editing another area. Amortias (T)(C) 21:13, 5 February 2015 (UTC)

@Amortias - why are citations implying the word chinky as offensive removed? Is there an agenda to this non-censorship? Is this selective censorship

The link you posted didnt work, it may have been added in a method that was incorrect if you can send the link here id be willing to give it a look and add it to the article if you let me know when youve readded the text to go with it. Amortias (T)(C) 21:27, 5 February 2015 (UTC)

Undoing Changes (Again)[edit]

Dear Pinethicket:

I have updated the Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity page yesterday so as to reflect current scientific findings make sure the Wikipedia audience has a more wholesome view on this controversial topic. I had removed the line: "However, there is no scientific basis to link EHS symptoms to electromagnetic field exposure". Reason: current research findings of Professor Paul Heroux of McGill University, which you can find on the following link: http://www.researchgate.net/profile/Paul_Heroux

I hope you have time to go over the published research studies and update your info (and the Wiki page) accordingly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TechJunkie1986 (talkcontribs) 14:44, 25 March 2015 (UTC)
