[edit] Constructive geometry

I saw your request for an article on Constructive geometry but was a bit unclear on what exactly you had in mind. If you were thinking along the lines of the construction of various figures using the traditional methods of Euclidean Geometry then perhaps Compass and straightedge constructions has what you intended. If you're looking for more detail, I've found Eagles' Constructive Geometry of Plane Curves a useful reference. Such a detailed treatment would really be more appropriate for Wikibooks though. There is also Constructive solid geometry which is related to computer graphics; I'm not sure if a 2-dimensional version exists.--RDBury (talk) 12:53, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Barbarian

My bad. I didn't read that far in to it. My apologies. SpigotMap 13:28, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Danish cinema, etc.

Hello Pavel. Glad to see you have joined WikiProject Denmark. Great to have an Estonian with us. I have several Estonian friends/colleagues who have worked wonders with building up cultural resources on the Web. Your interest in cinema is welcome too. I see you have already made a few edits on Cinema of Denmark. It's not a bad article but it could do with a lot more work, especially on finding good references and generally keeping it up to date. If you find time to take it a bit further, I think it would be well worth the effort. Furthermore, if you are interested in any of the other aspects of Danish culture (art, architecture, photography, music) we could also do with additional help. Good luck. [edit] Etymology format

Hi.Which should be the format of an etymology that includes non-Latin characters? Have a look here; is the way I formatted the etymological text correct or incorrect? Is there a WP guideline about it? Eipnvn (talk) 09:38, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Leonardo and Vegetarianism

The reference by Corsali to Leonardo was what you might a "passing reference". It is, however, evidence that Leonardo was, in fact, generally accepted to be vegetarian.

But the precise nature and geographic location of the people about whom Corsali was talking has no relevance to an article on Leonardo's private life and doesn't need expanding. (We have no idea if Leonardo knew about these people. In the sentence they are being likened to him, not the other way around). Moreover, when it is necessary to expand something because clarity is required (eg within an article specifically about the Jains) then the extra info must not be added in the middle of a quotation. The moment you add something to a quotation, it is no longer the words of the person being quoted.

[edit] RFC on the inclusion of a table comparing SI units and Binary prefixes

Notice: An RFC is being conducted here at Talk:Hard diskdrive#RFC on the use of the IEC prefixes. The debate concerns this table which includes columns comparing SI and Binary prefixes to describe storage capacity. We welcome your input

[edit] Meal ticket (idiom)

I believe an etymology section in the article Meal ticket (idiom) would be of help. Asinthior (talk) 16:10, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
