Sound recording and reproduction[edit]

What is the page the language was copied from? Are you certain this site isn't a Wikipedia mirror? Thanks! 78.26 (I'm no IP, talk to me!) 16:05, 13 December 2013 (UTC)

The page is http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/general/1286401/top-10-technical-innovations-of-world-war-2/2. It is listed in the "further readings" section of the entry. Profperry (talk) 16:32, 13 December 2013 (UTC)

Fantastic, great catch. I checked the Wikipedia history, and the paragraph was definitely added after the expertreviews post. Bravo! It would be helpful in the future if you posted this on the article talk page, I have done so. Do you think the information is important to the article? If so, it could be re-written and the violated source could be used as a reference. 78.26 (I'm no IP, talk to me!) 18:34, 13 December 2013 (UTC)

I don't recall the context enough to say for sure, but I don't think it was a good fit anyway. I think it was more about radio signals than sound recordings as I recall. And thanks for the advice about the talk pages on each topic. I'm not that familiar with how moderation conversations work on Wikipedia. Profperry (talk) 19:25, 13 December 2013 (UTC)

No worries. Of course not every edit needs a talk page entry, but it helps when removing a large amount of content. I should have checked the article history more thoroughly. The previous paragraph (from the same editor) was also completely out of context, and I have removed it. Happy editing! 78.26 (I'm no IP, talk to me!) 19:48, 13 December 2013 (UTC)
