Mythbusters episode summaries[edit]

I noticed that you have been copying the Mythbusters episode summary/previews from the Discovery website into the relevant Wikipedia articles. Unfortunately, due to copyright issues, you can not copy and paste the descriptions into the article. You should instead write the descriptions in your own words. -- Gogo Dodo 06:46, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

re:side bar hack[edit]

Do you want this for Wikipedia or your own wiki? It looks like they just added some "SEARCH" element -- take a look at MediaWiki:Sidebar if you haven't already. Omitting SEARCH or placing your menu above it should work. --gatoatigrado 03:32, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Windows 7 graphical command shell.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Windows 7 graphical command shell.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fastily (talk) 06:55, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

November 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to MythBusters (season 7), did not appear to be constructive and has been removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. that page needs to be deleted, the official discovery channal website recently put up a list of episodes and according to them there currently is no season 7 and since they make the show i think that we should agree with them Redekopmark (talk) 19:23, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Got the message...thanks for the clarification. Willking1979 (talk) 19:25, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Windows 7[edit]

I'm afraid that you can't claim to have a copy of Windows 7 unless you give me some screenshots, the BUILD NUMBER, and the way you obtained it. You know that Wikipedia is highly intolerant of lying.Jasper Deng (talk) 00:03, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Another way to prove your ownership of Windows 7 is to post a screenshot of Task Manager on the main Windows 7 page at Wikipedia and the Windows Task Manager page.Jasper Deng (talk) 21:58, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Adventures in Odyssey Wikiproject[edit]

Hello, Redekopmark,

I saw that you were have edited (or have an interest in) some Adventures in Odyssey-related articles. So I was wondering if you'd be interested in joining the Adventures in Odyssey WikiProject, which I am trying to get off the ground and moved into the Wikipedia namespace. I'm hoping to create and organize all notable articles related to AIO, and have other join me in this. As a member, I really hope you can join, and if you have any questions about the project you can ask at the project's talk page. Thanks! -- American Eagle (talk) 06:36, 13 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Haha, I know who you are. ;) As of now, I am mostly looking for people who are interested in the subject of AIO. Could you add yourself to the members list, even if you aren't active with it (you don't have to be)? Typically, new Wikiprojects need to have several members who are interested in it to start a project, that is what I am hoping for. So you don't have to join, or be active with it, but would you add yourself? God bless, American Eagle (talk) 07:16, 13 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello[edit]

I don't know if you are active on wikipedia, but AMerican Eagle and I created this userbox for odyssey. Erwin Springer [talk] 22:18, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
