Hi Reliableforever, I saw you're a member of Wikproject South Carolina. I don't see much going on there and you're active so I thought I'd directly ask you to assess an article I'm working on: Robert Ford (politician). The importance for Wikiproject South Carolina is missing - it's probably low. Thanks! Hekerui (talk) 16:51, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

Hi Reliableforever. I have removed User:Nazimshe from WP:UAA as I am unconvinced that it is a blatant violation of username policy. Nazim is a fairly common name in certain parts of the world - the user's edits appear to be good faith and don't seem to be pushing any radical agenda. I'll keep an eye on them, but I don't feel that I can block them at this stage. Best wishes, Rje (talk) 15:39, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

User talk:[edit]

I reverted your speedy tags to the talkpage, since the content there was a warning, a non templated one, but a wholly correct one, based on that user's contribs. --Terrillja talk 06:07, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Alturnertive Prize[edit]

Hello Reliableforever. Just to let you know, I declined the speedy deletion you suggested for this article, as I did not find that it met any of the speedy deletion criteria. Regards, Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 03:34, 29 November 2011 (UTC)

Sorry about that. I'm still getting used to being back on here. Reliable Forevertalk 17:08, 29 November 2011 (UTC)

I just realized I have received Twinkle, I'm curious, did I get any special privileges while I was away? Seeing as I didn't have all these buttons before. Sorry for bothering you with this, if someone did give me special privileges I'd like to thank them. Reliable Forevertalk 17:10, 29 November 2011 (UTC)
Twinkle is now more integrated than it used to be, so it's now available by default (but you have to turn it on in your preferences, I think). From what I can remember, it is now no longer possible for administrators to disable twinkle for a particular editor, but it used to be. Rollback rights are still allocated on a per editor basis (as I see you already found out). --Demiurge1000 (talk) 18:35, 29 November 2011 (UTC)

Your account rights can be checked at Special:ListUsers and there are no changes as of this time, I see you have requested rollback if your request is granted before you read this then your rollback status will be shown there. There are a lot of new buttons with Twinkle you can read this documentation and customize the settings here Wikipedia:Twinkle/Preferences. If you have any specific questions regarding Twinkle feel free to ask on my talk, if I can not answer your questions I will help you find them. Cheers Mlpearc powwow 18:48, 29 November 2011 (UTC)

I am wondering if I can do anything to prevent anonymous users from impersonating me... Please let me know as soon as possible, it is making me stressed. Reliable Forevertalk 17:12, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

I would take this to WP:ANI if you are being impersonated--SKATER Is Back 17:16, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
This will probably stress me out more, but if I have to,I guess I will... Reliable Forevertalk 17:19, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
You could also just go on the talk page of an admin and ask there.--SKATER Is Back 17:57, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
Thank you very much for all your help, but I don't know any admins that are currently active. Reliable Forevertalk 17:59, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
I'm currently active!
I've removed your notice on ANI. Don't worry, it's not that you've done anything wrong - but in cases like this, trolls are doing everything they can to stress you out. And, sadly, they feed off of any attention, especially when their exploits are being paraded on a popular noticeboard such as ANI (they think of it as a badge of honour).
As for your situation; there's not much we can do at this point aside from block them on sight. Aside from the editor you reported on ANI, are there any other instances of IP editors doing this? m.o.p 18:03, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
Thank you very much, as for editing, I will have to wait and see for him to come back... I'm sure he will anyways. I am thinking of adding Jim and HurricaneFan's pages to my watchlist so I can make sure he doesn't come back. I don't really like messing with sockpuppet accounts, but when I was very young I made the mistake of angering a sockpuppeteer. Sorry for bothering you all, but I have one last question. Since I am still pretty young, and I really have bad vocabulary/can't help out much on articles, is there anything else I can do to help wikipedia besides reverting vandalism & reporting vandals? Reliable Forevertalk 18:08, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

If the IP comes back and keeps harassing you, it's best to report instances of it to WP:AIV, as that board deals solely with vandals and is watched by hundreds of administrators.
As for helping out, there are a lot of things you can do! If you'd like, you could look into getting a mentor - there should be a few decent mentors active. I'd offer, but I'm a bit busy in real life at the moment. I can always give you a few behind-the-scenes areas of the encyclopedia which could always use some help.
And don't feel like you can't help out just because you're young - I started editing back in 2005. I was 14. One of the beauties of Wikipedia is that nobody has to know how old you are - there's always ways you can help out. Cheers, m.o.p 18:21, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

All right, thank you very much for all the help Reliable Forevertalk 18:23, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
Any time! Take care, m.o.p 18:31, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
I'll officially offer to mentor you if you wish. I just turned a8, when I made my first edit I was 13 and started editing frequently at 15.--SKATER Is Back 16:48, 13 December 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for the Barnstar! I just discovered this very useful tool. --Skizziktalk 19:48, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

ClueBot NG Helping[edit]

Thank you for your interest in helping get ClueBot NG up to speed.

There are 2 ways of helping, processing false positive reports and reviewing ClueBot's edits. The first, found at is where users report false positives, of course, it requires human reviewers to check these FPs and bin those by, if you excuse my phrase, idiots who just send reports for the fun of it (with stupid comments as well). The second is at and requires a Google account and approval, this review interface allows trusted users to overview ClueBot's edits to see if it's reverting the right thing, when enough users have given a rating to the edit, it directly goes into the dataset which improves ClueBot's performance.

You may wish to help with just one, or the other or indeed both, the choice is yours. Please follow the instructions below depending on what you want to do (please follow both sets if you wish to do both).

Report Interface:

1. Register on 2. E-Mail myself by replying to this e-mail or using the "E-Mail this user" on Wikipedia. 3. You will be given access to go over the reports. Note: ALL actions on the report interface are monitored via IRC, if there are constant invalid reviews, your access will be revoked.

Review Interface: 1. Head to 2. Click the "Here is a link" and log in to your Google Account and allow the Review Interface access to it. 3. Fill in the form it gives you. 4. E-Mail me with your Wikipedia name by replying to this e-mail or using the "E-Mail this user" on Wikipedia. 5. You will be sent an e-mail when your account is active and you can begin reviewing CBNG's edits.

Many many thanks again for helping.

IRC cloak request[edit]

Hello Reliableforever! You requested a wikipedia/ or wikimedia/ cloak on IRC, but didn't provide us a diff (or the diff you provided is not valid for some reason). Please edit your userpage and put in IRC cloak request as edit summary and send me the diff via memo (/ms send Barras <diff goes here) on IRC or drop me a notice with a link on my talk page on meta. -Barras talk 15:35, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

Adoption request[edit]

Hi Reliableforever, I notice you've had a request for adoption up for a little while. If you would still like to be adopted, can I suggest that you contact one of the editors on the list of adopters? As Wikipedia is a volunteer project and many adopters are busy, a more pro-active approach would mean that you are more likely to be noticed. If you've got any questions, feel free to leave me a message. WormTT · (talk) 14:02, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

Based on this, and the fact that you've since been offered adoption, I've removed the adoption template from your userpage. WormTT(talk) 10:07, 19 September 2012 (UTC)

Wikipedia:WikiProject Years[edit]

Hi, since your name's down on this project, I'm just writing to let you know that there's a discussion going on at the moment on how to format events – and in particular, events that go on for multiple days – on year pages. Your input would be appreciated. — Smjg (talk) 18:24, 15 January 2012 (UTC)

Hi! I see you are requesting adoption and so would like to offer to adopt you. Myself and my replacement/assistant, RexRowan have an adoption school, which can teach you all the basics of Wikipedia. We believe the adoption course is a great beginning to your Wikipedia life and User talk:RexRowan, who has completed the course himself, will happily tell you how useful the course was.

The adoption school contains a series of 10 lessons, each focusing on a different aspect and with a short test at the end of each. The lessons are then followed by a final exam.

Should you be interested in getting adopted, please read this Code of Honour, then return here and press the button below, filling in USERNAME with your username with out the User: prefix. This questionnaire gives me an insight into you and allows me to adjust the course should I need to, so please fill it in.

Also, please drop a line to say you are interested either below this message or on my talk page at User talk:Adam mugliston.
