Endemic fauna of Puerto Rico[edit]

Take a look[edit]

You might find this page interesting. Joelito 18:25, 23 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I had actually already looked through the requested pictures. Unfortunately, most of them are requests for photographs and I can only do diagrams and illustrations. So far, the Science and Math categories are the most promising since they deal with more abstract concepts. For requested diagrams, I've been looking in the requested diagrams category. (sorry, don't know how to link to a category yet.)
Hadn't noticed you had replied. I did not have your User talk in my watchlist. But no worries, I do now. Joelito 03:06, 24 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Here's the code for linking a category. [[:Category:Puerto Rico]] produces Category:Puerto Rico Joelito 12:53, 24 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the Articles requested for more than 2 years work. It's noticed and appreciated. GRuban 18:58, 3 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

*blush* Thank you so much! Reverie 00:47, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Illustration requests[edit]

Human Genome Project seems to need a diagram. It's not very specific as to what exactly is wanted, so you get to use your own judgement. A section of the double helix? A daguerrotype of Victor Frankenstein? :-) In fact, if you go to Category:Wikipedia requested diagrams and/or Image:DiagramNeeded.gif, and look at the "pages that link here", I suspect you will find several other articles that would benefit from your talents. -- GRuban 13:48, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bienvenida[edit]

—Joseph | Talk 07:49, 1 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image suggestion: giant hutia[edit]

I love your Puerto Rican shrew. What about a giant hutia, perhaps the Puerto Rican giant hutia, Elasmodontomys obliquus. According to Nowak (1999) it was a heavy bodied rodent about the size of a paca. The skull is very similar to that of a nutria; flat-topped. It was probably terrestrial, having short toes. It was probably present in forested habitat. A mix of a paca, nutria, and hutia in appearance, perhaps. --Aranae 02:29, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Graphics Lab[edit]

I saw your name listed on Wikiproject Illustration or the list of graphic artists, and I thought I'd let you know that a Graphics Lab has been created on EN. Based on the highly successful French and German graphics labs, it seeks to better organise and coordinate our graphic design and photo-editing efforts. Up until now, there has been no common space on EN where users could ask for maps, charts and other SVG files to be created. What's more, the Graphics Lab has discussion boards, tips, tools and links; in sum, a good common workspace. Come help us out! The infrastucture is already in place, and now we need participants. :) --Zantastik talk 00:41, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dino project[edit]

hey, I came across your lovely image of the Puerto Rican Shrew in the Fauna of Puerto Rico article featured on the Main Page and was wondering if you would be interested in joining the Wikipedia:WikiProject Dinosaurs as an illustrator. There are hundreds of dinosaurs and other prehistoric beasts articles that lack images and we are presently a few of us (3-4) to regularly contribute to Wikipedia in this way. We have a review page at Wikipedia:WikiProject Dinosaurs/Image review where you can submit your creation to the scrutiny of the experts before loading them to the article. We have also a sign-up sheet where you can find a list of the most wanted illustrations (although you are free to draw what you like, just let the other know so not to duplicate efforts) at Wikipedia:WikiProject Dinosaurs/Image review/To Do List. Hope you will join. ArthurWeasley 01:23, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cartesian Theatre illustration in Homunculus[edit]

Back from hiatus![edit]

It's been a long time since I last contributed to Wikipedia - I've been caught up in a lot of other things. Thankfully, I'm getting my priorities straight and would like to dedicate a lot more time to creating illustrations for Wikipedia.

The short story is that I've decided to become a technical illustrator full-time, but before I can do that I need to fatten up my portfolio with examples of my work. I think that simply browsing for requested illustrations on Wikipedia will give me more than enough material to work from. Also, if you have a specific project that you'd like me to work on, I welcome your suggestions!

Bienvenida Sra. Montes :-) Joelito (talk) 14:19, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, a few of WP:PUR's Good Articles are in need of images, are you interested in illustrating biographies? - Caribbean~H.Q. 21:15, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, biographies would be great. I've actually already started on Cornelis Vreeswijk, but I'll check out WP:PUR's articles when I'm done. --Reverie (talk) 19:25, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
